Double Scottish Championships 17-10 Double Scottish Championships 17-10
We are back in action at Lochgelly Raceway with another superb line up of action scheduled with TWO Scottish Championships on offer, which will see TWO new champions crowned!

The UKMC sponsored Ninja Karts, will see there Scottish Championship proudly sponsored by KN Transport Ltd; With Toby Tyson currently suspended, pending an appeal, a new Ninja Kart Scottish Champion will be crowned with Tyson currently unable to defend. The Ninja Karts have consistently provided superb on track entertainment, with there fair share of action too! Kenzie Kopacz and Kenzie Bell have been two of the quickest karts on there day this year, however, both have had there fair share of bad luck - can any of this pair keep out of trouble and be in contention come the final time on Saturday night? Dougie Kidd and Eevie Ford are another two drivers that have shown a great deal of pace, with Eevie coming on leaps and bounds througohut the season - can she cap it off with a title or a podium finish? Hamish Plenderleith, Aiden Duffy, Lewis Duffy, Candice Smart, Kaden Connor, Jack Baird, Keiron Hay, and several others could all be in with a chance. With this crop of youngsters, you cannot discount any one of them - each and every one of them is a star in there own right just for being out on track. Whoever you support, ensure you give these kids a cheers and a blast of your horn when it comes to the victory lap!

The 2.0 Hot Rods will also be battling it out for their own Scottish Championship - the 2.0 class has provided some super racing of late with some of the cleanest and most competitive racing we have seen for quite some time. Marc Honeyman has been in great form over the course of the past month, scooping a number of race wins on the way. Scott Devine raced to an impressive hat trick of wins in sodden conditions last time out; Scotty will no doubt be doing a rain dance on Saturday afternoon!! Jock Campbell, Derek Connor and points leader Kevin Stewart all have the experience, pace and knowhow to get the job done. What about Gerry Hendry - a recent returnee to the formula has been impressive on his recent outings, battling it out from the back of the grid to be in the reckoning on several occasions. In any conditions, the 2.0 boys can provide some excellent racing.. Hold tight, sit back, and enjoy!

The Ministox are a consistently good performer here at Lochgelly Raceway, and with over 20 cars again booked to race, it promises to be yet another lively encounter from the contact junior class. Charlie Hardie has been in super form lately, and has taken a number of convincing, but hard fought wins. Robbie Armit and Lewis Burgoyne have both shown consistency with consistent top 3 finishes. Scott Allardyce is back with us and will be looking to hit the ground running with the form and pace he showed a few weeks back.

The Stock Rods are the fourth and final formula in action this Saturday night, with an impressive amount of cars booked in, including World Champion Derek McMillan. Samuel Pate also makes his debut, whilst Mike Courts switches his 1300 Stock Car for a Stock Rods... Here is hoping he remembers that these are NON CONTACT! Newly crowned ProStock World Cup Winner Dean McGill will be out on track in his Stock Rod, whilst Chris Lattka will get the opportunity to show off the Scottish Championship roof for the first time since winning the title a few weeks back.

A reminder, that those in trackside viewing must ensure that you wear a face covering whilst out of your car - this includes visiting the toilet or going for food.
