Easter Racing at HRP Easter Racing at HRP
Saturday 16th April will see the final Ninja Kart meeting in Scotland ahead of the British Championship on the 7th May, and we will again welcome some visiting drivers. Ryan Abernethy joins us from Northern Ireland, whilst Jayden Roff, Romeo Gould and Jenson Fish make the trip north to be with us in another strong field of karts. Eevie Ford and Jack Connor will likely lead the Scottish charge, though Kenzie Bell looked to be in great form last week and may be one to beat as he looks to get his season on track. Caelan Grant will be hoping for another haul of points this weekend as he looks to move back up the grades. Layton Cairns and Tommy Melrose both appear to be moving from strength to strength in the class with ever improving results – both will be looking for a trophy or 2 this weekend!

The 1300 Stock Cars likewise, will likely see another field of 20+ cars, sure to provide some excellent entertainment throughout the evening. Jacob Roff makes his third appearance of the season at Lochgelly Raceway from his English base. Roff has shown he is one to beat at HRP, and will be looking for another good night this weekend. Charlie Henry looks set to make an appearance in a brand new Callum Barclay built car, that looks stunning from the early photos we have seen. Fraser Clark and Kyle Hegg have been the two consistent performers so far in 22, though Blair Robertson and Kai Gilmour have both shown to be a match, with both drivers scoring excellently in the early part of the season.

The CC Rods are with us for the second week in succession, with the formula providing some brilliant racing last week! Chris Hutchison was in the form of his life last week as he took a couple of race wins, but will face stearn competition from Kyle Hutchison and Kevin Hutchison this weekend, with Raymond Brown hoping to be in the mix as well. Mirran Adams looks set to be back out on track following a coming together last weekend, whilst Jack Dixon looks set to make an appearance in the formula.

The 2.0 Hot Rods are again with us following an excellent showing last week. World Champion James Morris will be looking to continue his good form from last weekend, where he stood up to be the quickest driver on track, though, his results didn’t necessarily reflect this. National Points Champion Cameron Willacy will be with us as he looks to defend his title, and has shown consistency throughout the season so far, picking up some good results along the way. Marc Honeyman and Kevin Stewart both have the speed and experience to be in the mix for the race wins. The 2.0 Hot Rods will welcome Chris Crane and Mitch Souter north of the border as the formula look to provide some nail biting non contact racing.

The youngsters in the Ministox are the fifth and final formula in action, and need no introduction. The youngsters have continually provided fine racing here at Lochgelly Raceway, with a wealth of talent on show every weekend. Charlie Hardie and Jake Wilson look set to be in a season long battle as they contest for the HRP National Points championship, and things may get feisty when it comes to the sharp end of the season! Scott Allardyce has been in the thick of the action of late, with several comings together over the last few weeks, and he’ll be one to watch this weekend, as will no doubt be in amongst the action yet again. Rian Mitchell has matured into a quality young driver, and has navigated things well to find regular good points scoring finishes, being able to avoid much of the on track incidents. Hamish Plenderleith and Cole Ford, both fairly new to the formula, have both put in some great performances of late, with Plenderleith becoming so close to a race win last time out here at Lochgelly Raceway, whilst Ford has developed in each race with his new car.

The action gets underway at 5.30pm, with a drivers briefing at 5pm.
