A return to Friday night stock car racing will see a slick and action packed event take place - with a mixture of full contact and non-contact racing on offer.
The ever entertaining 1300 Stock Cars will feature as they battle it out again - last weekend, Callum Barclay was in excellent form - showing great pace from the red grade, though Kyle Hegg was equally as quick in a new car straight from the outset - can he make further improvements ahead of Fridays event? The track championship points chart is getting squeakily tight at the top - with Kyle Hegg, Euan Mathieson and numerous others all floating around at the top end of the chart! That could be a fascinating battle as the weeks go on in the remainder of the 2021 campaign.
The Ministox welcome a couple of visitors from the West Country as they make their way northwards as part of a 3 day weekend for the Ministox, with the British Championship taking place at Cowdenbeath. Scott Allardyce will show off the Saltire on his roof for the first time having won the Scottish Championship last weekend. He will be battling it out from the Champion grade now, amongst Charlie Hardie and Jamie Dawson as well. The youngsters never fail to disappoint, and we are sure this Friday night will be no exception - be sure to join us for a 7pm start time!
The 2.0 Hot Rods are the third and final formula in action, and will give the non-contact fans something to keep themselves interested! Gerry Hendry was the star driver last weekend, picking up a heat and final double, though Jason Secker continues to improve with each passing meeting, and has started to knock up a number of race wins for his efforts. Kevin Stewart and Jock Campbell will battle it out from the red grade, whilst Ryan Mackie and Cameron Willacy will also start amongst the star graded drivers in what looks to be another star heavy line up, sure to provide some excellent racing!
