Saturday 29th May Saturday 29th May
This Saturday night we are back to domestic action with another 5 formula line up.

The Superstox have a couple of welcome visitors in the shape of Bradley Brooker and Declan Salmon, both of whom will be looking to gain some valuable track time on their travels north with the British Championship due to be contested later in the year here at Lochgelly Raceway. Reece Din looks set to make his debut in the formula, whilst Evan Clark and Jack Turbitt hope to make their first appearances of the 2021 season. Last time out, the Superstox provided some excellent racing, with the races going to the wire, most notably the meeting final where Bryan Forrest clinched it on the last corner from Steven Ballentine.

The UKMC sponsored Ninja Karts never fail to entertain, and with in excess of 25 karts booked for this weekends racing, it is set to be another lively encounter. Shaun Boyle was in good form a few weeks ago, taking away a handful of points, which looks set to propel him up the grades after this weekend ahead of the European Championship on the 12th June. Kenzie Bell and Kenzie Kopacz are both booked to race, and will be looking to improve on results last time out. Both drivers are two of the best on there day, but a combination of bad luck and incidents meant both left slightly disappointed. Toby Tyson likewise will be looking to take a few more points away this weekend having been caught up in numerous incidents last time out!! Stuart Shevill and Saul Galloway are two of last years novice drivers who look to be beginning to excel this year having had the best part of a season under there belts now. The 2 will be looking to push up through the grades in the coming weeks. A number of visitors join us this weekend in the shape of Joby and Murray Hall, as well as George Climo.

The CC Rods had a bit of a rough outing last time out, and we will be hoping that the standards pick up this weekend. The traditionally entertaining non-contact class will be out to provide some excellent door-to-door racing, whilst avoiding each other. Steven Duffy left a with a fair amount of damage 2 weeks ago, that will keep him out of action this weekend. Kevin Hutchison will be debuting his new car for the season. Scottish Champion Brandon Gourlay took a convincing win in the meeting final 2 weeks ago - can he continue that form this Saturday night, or will the likes of Ian Donaldson and Lee Wotherspoon provide some competition for the 671 machine?

The Junior Productions are at the moment, a little down on numbers against the first 2 meetings of the season, but that is to be expected as numbers will fluctuate throughout the year. Declan Dixon impressed last time out, and was unfortunate not to take away a few more points than he did, whilst Lewis Dickson also showed some good speed as he continues to develop his confidence in the car. At the back of the grid, Jensen Bell and Jase Wall will be looking to take a few more wins, whilst Jack MacLeod will be hopeful to make the grid having sustained some damage last time out.

The Back 2 Basics Bangers are back with us for the 2nd time this season, and with around 15 cars expected, the budget class will be looking to put on a show. Sean McConnachie and Ryan Martin are both expected to be out, whilst Ian Cameron makes a welcome return to action.

All the action kicks off at 5.30pm.
