He will have the advantage of pole position, but with a quality field behind him, there will be no room for complacency.\r\n\r\nHis closest challenger on the qualifying points is his sone 167 Liam Conway starting alongside him – That could get interesting!! Ian Donaldson 700 is another major contender and has won titles previously in the CC Rod formula, with Points Champion 337 Lee Scott and Kevin Donaldson 900 completing the first five cars on the grid.\r\n\r\nThe CC Rods have consistently delivered some of the closest racing at Lochgelly, with the formula renowned for its competitive, budget-friendly nature.\r\n\r\nThe National Hot Rods will provide the high-speed element of Saturday\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s programme.\r\n\r\nThe elite non-contact formula always brings plenty of precision and speed to Lochgelly, with drivers battling for every fraction of a second around the oval.\r\n\r\nGordon Alexander 71 is the Scottish Points Series Champion is expected to be with us once more as he sets his sights on another points championship and World Qualification. 700 Ian Donaldson and 144 Cameron Willacy will also be in attendance, whilst 330 Ross McWilliam makes a welcome return following a spell on the sidelines.\r\n\r\nThe Stock Rods return to the line-up following another impressive season of racing at Lochgelly.\r\n\r\nWith close competition throughout the field, expect plenty of hard-fought battles as the drivers look to make their mark on another busy HRP programme.\r\n\r\nThe junior stars of oval racing will also be in action, with the ORCi Ministox providing another opportunity for the next generation of drivers to showcase their skills around Lochgelly. Last time out, the formula delivered a weekend full of excellent racing as they battled for their European Championship. We should see the British and Scottish Champions with us on Saturday, in what should be another exciting race meeting.\r\n\r\nCompleting the five-formula line-up are the 2.0 Hot Rods, adding another dose of fast, competitive non-contact racing to the evening.\r\n\r\nFirst race: 5.30pm\r\n\r\nUnder 10s GO FREE, with the event also offering trackside parking, a free on-site car park, covered stands and catering facilities.\r\n\r\nFive formulas. The stars of the future are a marmite formula, but they always produce competitive exciting racing. With high stakes this Saturday, we are sure the youngsters will be on top form as they race for the honour of being Scottish Champion. Rory Wilson is the defending champion and is keen to make it 3 in a row. HRP National Points Champion Henry Hunn will be looking to go out on a high as he enters his last few weeks in the Ninja Kart formula. Jayden Jeffrey has been a front running driver throughout his time in the class, and has been in good form of late and will be keen to claim the Scottish Championship title. Alfie Shevill was in great form at the World Championship meeting and will be looking to continue that this weekend as he looks to win his first major title in the formula. Ryan Love, Max Armit, Lochie Heeps, Jacob Green are all other front running drivers that will be in contention. Christopher Lattka has called time on his Ninja Kart career due to outsizing his kart and will sit out this weekend.\r\n\r\nThe National Micro Bangers race in the final round of their Fife Medical Group World Cup Qualifying Series, and we aim to conclude that with some brilliant on track banger action. A good turn out of cars is expected, and with an entertainer award and DD award up for grabs, we are sure to see the drivers get stuck in on Saturday. The full meeting will carry double points – including the entertainer award and dd points. \r\n\r\nThe Superstox, Junior Productions and ProStocks compete the line up for an exciting 5 formula, 15 race event.\r\n\r\nWe hope that you enjoy your visit with us at HRP Lochgelly Raceway. Be sure to join us for an action packed weekend of racing, bringing you superb metal crunching action and wheel to wheel racing you won’t want to miss. \r\n\r\nAt Lochgelly Raceway, you can stand metres from the action and feel the wind as the cars race by, have excellent views of the full track from almost any vantage point around the raceway, and feel the atmosphere as spectators cheer on there favourite drivers. Before the event gets underway, you can visit the pit area and catch up with your favourite drivers, kids can get photos with them, or in some cases, even get to sit in the cars. It’s a brilliant family night out that will create memories and friendships that last a lifetime. Racing gets underway at 5.15pm this weekend, and you can simply pay on arrival – Cash or card payment accepted.\r\n\r\nWe have a feast of on track action this weekend, and it all gets going with the fun filled Cozy Coupe car race, which will take to the track at 4.50pm. The race may be split depending on numbers by approximate age groups if required. We ask everyone that is participating in this to ensure you arrive early enough to have purchased your wristbands for the weekend, and to get to the pit gate for 4.45pm, ready to load the track!\r\n\r\nThe Unlimited Bangers headline the bill on the Saturday night as they race for their Scottish Championship. A strong field of cars is anticipated, with a host of drivers from throughout Scotland and England taking to the track. Harvey Webb joins us as he makes the trip north to try and defend the title that he won in 2025 – if he does do so, he will be the first driver that has successfully defended it since we launched the Scottish Championship event several years ago. The Unlimited Bangers only appear at Lochgelly once throughout the season, and it is great to see the formula around Lochgelly Raceway – The Unlimited’s will race for over £1500 of prize money, with the bulk of it being on the Scottish race, but the following races will also see some strong prize money up for grabs, including an entertainer award of £250, and if enough driver interest, a £250 DD.\r\n\r\nThe ORCi Ministox will contest their European Championship qualifying heats on Saturday night – with 3 races will all cars taking part in each of the three races. Drivers will draw numbers upon signing in, and those numbers will be input into our spreadsheet to determine the grids for the qualifying heats. Most of the formula’s top drivers are set to be with us with representation from around Scotland, England and Northern Ireland. UK Champion Charlie Weston will start as one of the pre-race favourites with the youngster often performing well upon his visits to Lochgelly Raceway. Ollie Sime took the Scottish Championship a few weeks ago at Crimond and will be keen to add to that. British Champion Stuart Shevill Jnr Jnr has been one of the stand out drivers at Lochgelly this year and will certainly fancy his chances around his home track. Ben McLellan and Corey Mathers have both been in great form, and will be in with a chance of success this weekend. Jamie Balfour has been in great form of late – coming close to success in the British Championship back in June, before winning the Keir Millar Memorial – he’ll be full of confidence and will be keen to enjoy this weekend amongst the top drivers. Irish Open Champion Jacob Roff joins us as well in what is a star studded line up! We ask all Ministox race teams to join our WhatsApp group which we will use to send over grids, results and any other information across the weekend.\r\n\r\nThe Rebels formula return to Scotland after a number of year lay off, and they are back with a vengeance as over 30 of the robin powered cars make the trip north as hey are set to bounce there way around Lochgelly Raceway! The European and Scottish Championships will be contested, as well as each day counting as a qualifying round for the formula’s World Championship. There is plenty to race for and we’re excited to see them back!\r\n\r\nThe Superstox contest the John Gibson Memorial Event on Saturday night – being defended by 12 Craig Stephen. No driver has won this event twice and Craig will be looking to become the first driver to do so. He’ll have some stern competition though, as the likes of in-form Bryan Forrest and Kenny McKenzie will be keen to take the win. Josh Duff has shown good pace in his new car, and will be one to watch out for if he has cured his issues that hampered him last weekend. \r\n\r\nThe Junior Bangers compete both days and will bring some brilliant on track action – The Junior Bangers have delivered superb racing at all events this season and we are looking forward to having them back on track for what feels like an eternity. A number of southern based drivers are set to be with us as well, and we could see around 15 cars take to the track.\r\n\r\nThe 1600 Bangers race on Sunday afternoon as they contest their Scottish Championship – Craig Royal took the title in 2025. We are set to see a new driver claim the title, with Craig not currently booked to race (at time of writing). A number of southern based drivers are making the trip north to join us, and we are sure the 1600s will provide some great action on Sunday afternoon – Over £1000 of prize money is up for grabs, which includes a DD fund of over £200 as well!\r\n\r\nThe Junior Productions are a late addition to the bill, replacing the 2.0 Hot Rods. The Juniors have seen strong numbers, and great competitive racing throughout the season. Callum Ritchie has been the quickest of the bunch, but had found consistency a barrier earlier in the season, though looks to have overcome that now with some great results over the last few meetings. Leeland Dearn was in good form last time out too, whilst Connor st Aubyn has been quietly going about his business, consistently scoring well. Adam Donnelly has found good form as well, and has seen his confidence sky rocket with some good results over the last few meetings both at home and in Northern Ireland. Candice Smart is set to join us this Sunday for another meeting around Lochgelly Raceway.\r\n\r\nWe hope that you enjoy your visit with us at HRP Lochgelly Raceway. Pick up a fixture list at the main reception to see what we have in store for the rest of the season. \r\n\r\nA reminder, we have <em>50 50 TICKETS AVAILABLE FROM THE MAIN RECEPTION FOR JUST £1 PER STRIP, WITH HALF THE TAKINGS GOING TO THE WINNER.</em>\r\n\r\n<span style=color:red; font-wright:bold; >\r\nA reminder, motorsport can be dangerous. Be sure to join us for an action packed evening of racing, bringing you superb metal crunching action and wheel to wheel racing you won’t want to miss. Racing gets underway at 5.15pm this weekend, and you can simply pay on arrival – Cash or card payment accepted.\r\n\r\nBefore the racing gets underway we will be holding a moment to remember Kerr Paterson, who was tragically taken from us far too soon. \r\n\r\nThe ProStocks have delivered lots of fantastic racing here at Lochgelly Raceway over the course of the season so far, and we once more, expect that the formula will produce the on track action on Saturday, as they race in the Graeme Boyle Memorial with around £1500 in prize money up for grabs as well as a number of tyres courtesy of numerous sponsors. The Graeme Boyle Memorial race will have a parade lap beforehand, led out by the Graeme Boyle car, with the drivers then lining up in graded order for the race. Every driver will be keen to come away with a good performance, and the nudge and spin formula will almost certainly be one to watch on Saturday. Dougie Kidd was in fine form last time out in his new car, and will certainly be one to look out for on Saturday, whilst Kai McNulty continues to chase the points, he too will be one to watch out for. If the star graded drivers get into a battle, we have some very quick drivers in the lower grades that will be itching for success – Dylan Dickson took a win last time out, whilst Paul McNulty Jnr, Liam Georgeson and Marley Montgomery will all fancy there chances.\r\n\r\nThe U Pull It 1400 Stock Cars have proven to be very competitive this year, with no single driver standing out consistently above the rest – However, Joshua Machin has been the consistent driver over the season, and has claimed the 2025-26 National Points Championship ahead of the World Championship at Kings Lynn next month. Fraser Clark has seen an improvement in his form in 2026, and he’ll be looking to carry that on into this weekend. Charlie Henry has taken more race wins than any other driver this year, and will be one to watch should she get a break on track. Dale Sutherland and Jamie George have both been welcome additions to the formula, and both have shown they have the pace and confidence to compete with anyone else on track. The ironed up formula will be using the bumpers to maximum effect throughout the night, and we can expect to see some sparks at the lock horns and clatter with the steel perimeter fencing. \r\n\r\nThe National Hot Rods are in action in R1 of the new series – Gordon Alexander came out on top once more through 2025-26. Gordon has been a front running driver in the formula over the course of the last few years and is always doing his best to promote the formula and the sport. On track though, there are no friends, and he’ll give it is all once more as he looks to chase success for another year and put his name in the headlines once more. Barry Stephen has had arguably the worst possible luck in 2026, having seen multiple engine failures throughout the season – He’ll be hoping to get his 2026-27 campaign off to the best possible start and get some more good points on the board. Cameron Willacy looked to have found his feet in the formula the last time he was out, scoring well throughout the event, and he too will be looking to get his car dialled in as he chases World Final qualification in 2027. The National Hot Rods are the elite of non-contact racing, and there is a lot of finesse in these cars – and are always a joy to see scream around the oval raceways.\r\n\r\nThe CC Rods are in attendance in their final British Championship qualifying round. The budget non-contact class has produced its fair share of great racing over the years, and 2026 has seen some brilliant racing from the formula. There have been a number of drivers making the step up, pushing the more established drivers all the way and adding a further element of excitement to the racing. Liam Conway and Gavin Ritchie have both been great to watch this season, with both drivers impressing at every meeting,\r\n\r\nThe Superstox complete the line up this weekend, and they too have seen some great on track action this year, with excellent racing, and some hard fought battles. The open wheel formula have seen some great trophies up for grabs and once more, will have sponsored trophies courtesy of Annette Turner Book Keeping & Gary Chisholm. Gary Chisolm makes the trip north to be with us again, and is a welcome attendee here at Lochgelly Raceway. Chizzy though, will be looking to take away some silverware himself as he begins his preparations for the World Championship here in September. Aaron Riddell, Bryan Forrest, Adam Low, Kenny Mckenzie have all had some epic races this season, with last lap battles, end to end action and superb open wheel action. Mirran Adams has been on an upward trajectory and will find herself racing from yellow grade this weekend, whilst Josh Duff also continues to impress in his new home built car.\r\n\r\nWe hope that you enjoy your visit with us at HRP Lochgelly Raceway.
