\r\nWith immediate affect (22nd October 2026) all formulas that use Hoosier Tyres under Spedeworth rules must adhere to the following:- A tyre can no longer be used unless an original tyre number is clearly visible on either the inner or outer side wall of the tyre. Tyres will no longer be accepted with the number manually written on any area of the tyre.\r\n\r\nThis rule update is due to drivers attempting to use false tyre numbers on tyres to gain advantage of a fresher tyre to use instead of using the original more worn tyre.\r\n

Hardie Race Promotions - Riddell Aims To Defend Superstox Scottish

Saturday 17th October | HRP Lochgelly Raceway | Super Scottish On The Line\r\n\r\nStand closer to the action at Lochgelly Raceway – Forget standing miles away from the action – At Lochgelly, you can stand just metres from it, sending your senses into overdrive as you hear the engines race by, the vibrations as the cars clip the wall, and the wind as the cars race by. If you have never been before, you are certainly missing out on an witnessing exciting, grassroots motorsport.\r\n\r\nThis Saturday, it’s another fantastic championship event to look forward too – The Superstox will contest their Scottish Championship, as Aaron Riddell aims to defend the title. The Superstox have provided some fantastic racing throughout the course of 2026 with very little between much of the front running drivers. This has given us fantastic on track moments – photo finishes, last benders and some hard hitting bumper action. Saturday night has all the ingredients for another fantastic night, and a lot will be based upon the pre-race grid draw as the drivers pull out the hat for their Scottish Championship starting positions. Following on from the Superstox Scottish Championship race, a full race format will follow, with added trophy incentive on the Superstox final, with sponsorship from Annette Chisolm Book Keeping. \r\n\r\nThe ORCi Ministox contest the GA Autos Series Finale – Oakley Grief leads the way in the standings at the moment, but is well within catching distance. The meeting final winner will come away with a tyre, whilst the series winner will be presented with the GA Autos Series shield. The overall top 3 in the series will also be presented with a tyre courtesy of GA Autos. The Ministox have provided some great racing this year, despite car numbers dropping as a few drivers have moved on. There has been plenty of bumper action with the youngsters being fairly evenly matched making it difficult to break away, allowing for some fantastic end to end racing.\r\n\r\nThe U Pull It 1400 Stock Cars are with us following on from their weekend in Northern Ireland, where Fraser Clark and Brant West came away with a few good results, with West finishing 2nd in the Irish Open. The 1400 Stock Cars have been in great form at Lochgelly over the last few months, with car numbers picking up and drivers putting on a brilliant spectacle of hard-hitting racing. As we near the end of the campaign, there are still a few drivers in the reckoning for the U Pull It track championship and that could get spicy! The drivers are also chasing National Points as they look to get a good start in the campaign as they head towards the 2027 World Championship. \r\n\r\nThe CC Rods are with us once more – last time out, Dylan O’Donnell and Connor st Aubyn came away with the winners trophies. Can they be caught this weekend? Both drivers know how to drive, and it will be interesting to see how the likes of Robert Conway, Kevin Donaldson and Gavin Ritchie etc all chase them down. The non-contact class often provides very close racing with plenty of door to doo action as the drivers look to fight around the outside line.\r\n\r\nThe Junior Productions complete the line up this weekend, as they join us for the 2nd weekend in succession. It was a busy weekend for the formula at the weekend, and we’re hopeful we’ll see the majority of drivers take to the track as they look to provide some exciting racing yet again. There has been a raft of newcomers into the formula of late, and they’ve all been excellent to watch as they show confidence on track. Despite them being micro in name, they are always BIG on action as witnessed in previous years. \r\n\r\n60+ Micro Bangers are set to hit the track, bringing plenty of crashes, carnage, destruction and 𝐧𝐨𝐧-𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐩 𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭! 🚗💨💥\r\n\r\n🏆 WORLD CUP GLORY IS ON THE LINE!\r\n💥 BIG GRID!\r\n🔥 BIG HITS!\r\n🏁 BIG BANGER ACTION!\r\n\r\nBefore the racing gets underway on Saturday, we will invite a number of nominees for the best presented micro banger to the track, where the winner will be chosen. Be sure to cheer on who you think should win!\r\n\r\nThe whole weekend promises to be up there with one of the best – action packed from start to finish. In addition to the Fife Medical Group Micro Banger World Cup, we also have the ProStock World Cup, Junior Bangers and Junior Productions featuring both days. The 1600 Bangers join us on Sunday afternoon as they complete their 2026 campaign at Lochgelly Raceway. The 1600s will see a demolition derby round off their season, with extra prize money and extra points available as an added incentive for drivers to participate!\r\n\r\nWe have the 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐂𝐊 𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐋𝐃 𝐂𝐔𝐏 taking place with four qualifying heats to determine the grid - followed by a 𝐒𝐏𝐈𝐍 𝐓𝐎 𝐖𝐈𝐍 𝐑𝐀𝐂𝐄 to round off the weekend of action for the ProStock formula. The nudge and spin class have produced some great racing this season with high octane drama, emotional drivers and exciting on track action!! It is all on the line this weekend as the formula race for their biggest title of the season.\r\n\r\nThe Junior Productions are set to battle it out for their 𝐒𝐜𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩. A number of Northern Irish visitors are set to bolster the grids with just under 30 up and coming talented youngsters taking to the track.\r\n\r\nThe Junior Bangers race both days with the youngsters capable of providing superb on track action - rollovers, spins and exciting tit for tat racing is a regular occurance for the Junior Bangers. With several English based driver joining us, it should be two exciting, choatic days of racing.\r\n\r\nThe 1600 Bangers join in on the action on Sunday as they complete their 2026 Scottish campaign. Saturday 3rd October | HRP Lochgelly Raceway | Ninjas Set To Battle For Scottish Open Title\r\n\r\nStand closer to the action at Lochgelly Raceway – Forget standing miles away from the action – At Lochgelly, you can stand just metres from it, sending your senses into overdrive as you hear the engines race by, the vibrations as the cars clip the wall, and the wind as the cars race by. If you have never been before, you are certainly missing out on an witnessing exciting, grassroots motorsport.\r\n\r\nIt promises to be another exciting night of on track action on Saturday 3rd October with five exciting formula taking to the track offering a mix of full contact and non-contact racing.\r\n\r\nThe youngsters in the Ninja Karts are racing for their Scottish Open Championship, with drivers joining us from throughout the UK and Ireland. Domestically, the youngsters have provided lots of great racing with lots of exciting overtakes, chopping and changing of positions – with the added drivers and extra incentive, we are sure the racing will once more be frantic, exciting and have everyone on the edge of their seats. We are thankful to Still Barrells and Planters for the sponsorship of this event for the Ninja Karts.\r\n\r\nThe Superstox race in the final round of the RS Motors Series – With a tyre up for grabs for the top point scoring white or yellow graded driver on the night. Gary Chisolm makes the trip north to join us once more, whilst we will see the likes of Kenny McKenzie, Bryan Forrest and Benjamin Erskin battle it out throughout the night. Track Championship leader Aaron Riddell hopes to join us as he aims to keep himself at the top of the points chart.\r\n\r\nThe U Pull It 1400 Stock Cars race in the final round of the SP Utilities Series – The drivers have been racing throughout the season within the series, and will start the meeting final in points order with prizes up for grabs for the top scoring drivers courtesy of SP Utilities. Fraser Clark claimed the Scottish Championship last time out and has been in good form of late, as has Brant West and Craig Haxton. National Points champion Joshua Machin has shown glimpses of returning to his best form, but has had a few issues along the way – he’ll be hoping for an issue free night as he chases the podium places once more.\r\n\r\nThe CC Rods are with us as they look to provide some highly competitive non-contact racing. Gavin Ritchie has been in fine form in the formula this season and has regularly been in amongst the podium places. There is a wealth of competition in the class right now – Liam and Robert Conway, Kevin and Ian Donaldson as well as Ritchie have all provided some fantastic battles on track. Add in Alun Gregory, Brooke McMullan and Craig Denholm, and we’ve got a superb field of drivers. Connor st Aubyn hopes to make his debut in the formula having made the transition from the Junior Production class.\r\n\r\nThe 2.0 Hot Rods complete the line up. If you have never been before, you are certainly missing out on an witnessing exciting, grassroots motorsport.\r\n\r\nChampionship fever continues at HRP Lochgelly Raceway as the Stock Rod race for their Scottish Championship this Saturday night. The Stock Rod formula has been one of the consistent highlights throughout the season, offering fast, close and extremely competitive racing amongst many of the formula’s top drivers. Robbie Armit will be hoping to defend the title he won last year – Robbie has had another excellent year and has been in contention from the outset, both at home and on his travels. Sean Naismith in the 100 car will be another front running driver – Naismith has been at the top end of the formula for a few years, and is due a big win – can this Saturday night be his night? Teri Linden 183 has been in good form of late, picking up some excellent results and showing some great racecraft. The female racer will fancy her chances and will be one to watch out for. Youngster David Philp Jnr has taken to the Stock Rod formula excellently having made the move up from Ministox in April this year. The youngster has taken a number of wins this season and will be hoping to add the Scottish Championship on Saturday night. A whole host of contenders – always expect the unexpected. It promises to be a brilliant night of racing from the Stock Rod formula.\r\n\r\nThe National Hot Rods join us for the first time in a few weeks – European Champion James Robertson is set to be with us, whilst Scottish Points Series Champion, Gordon Alexander will be in contention throughout the night. Last time out, Gordon looked to have his Mazda handling excellently. Barry Stephen expects to be with us too, and will be keen to get some good points on the board after some engine issues over the last few months. The Nationals will provide fast, close racing throughout the night as the drivers push the limits of the track. \r\n\r\nThe Ninja Karts race in their Autism Awareness event – won last year by Rory Wilson. Wilson in fact won the event in 2024 as well, and will be looking to make it three in a row. The Ninja Karts have delivered some of the best racing this year. The youngsters have often excelled with hair-raising moments with drivers racing just inches from each other as they move inside and outside to try their overtakes. Max Armit has been a fantastic addition to the formula this year and has certainly taken to it superbly, as he pushes the more experienced drivers all the way. Alfie Shevill has shown superb pace this year, though has at times been caught up in a few incidents along – he’ll be hoping for a smooth night this Saturday as he chases success. Alfie MacLeod and Scottish Champion Jayden Jeffrey have also been at the forefront of success this year, with both drivers showing great consistency and outright speed. Ryan Love competes in the formula for the final time ahead of his 11th birthday, and will be keen to go out on a high. Jacob Green is due a bit of luck – the youngsters has came on massively this season, but hasn’t always came away with the results that he potentially deserves. Always an exciting formula to watch, the Ninja Karts produce lots of overtaking and dramatic on track moments. \r\n\r\nThe Superstox are with us once more as they race for trophies sponsored by Annette Chisolm Book Keeping. Scott Keith is hoping to make his debut in the class a little later in the season than he had hoped for. \r\n\r\nThe ORCi Ministox complete the line up, and will be looking to produce some more exciting racing that they are always capable of. Hardie Race Promotions - 1400s Set To Battle For Scottish

Saturday 19th September | HRP Lochgelly Raceway | 1400 Stock Car Scottish Championship\r\n\r\nThe U Pull It 1400 Stock Cars are back with us on Saturday as they race for their Scottish Championship. Jamie Stewart is the reigning champion, though, having retired from the formula, there is set to be a new champion crowned. The 1400’s have produced some brilliant racing throughout the season, with the last few meetings particularly impressive as the drivers look to be on top of their game. Brant West has taken a good haul of points over the last few meetings, whilst Fraser Clark has been in contention once more as well. There has been some excellent performances from some lower graded drivers – Dean Sievwright finally got things going last time out, and he’ll be hoping to carry that form into this weekend. Points Champion Joshua Machin will be looking for a good grid draw as he looks to add the Scottish Championship to his honours this season, whilst British Champion Gary Nicholls will be hoping his car play’s the game this weekend as he aims to take the Scottish Championship. We are certain to see some brilliant racing, with four races scheduled for the formula this weekend.\r\n\r\nThe Junior Productions compete in the final round of the AG Mot Ltd series. The youngsters have been in great form this year, and we’ve seen a number of new drivers enter the class throughout the course of the season – as well as some reaching the upper age limit in the class too. Ryan Love Jnr is hoping to make his debut in the formula this weekend, whilst Katie Lee Smart looks to return to racing after sitting out most of the season so far. Kenzie Kopacz, Callum Ritchie and Aiden Duffy have all produced some brilliant racing with very little between them for long periods during the season. We’ve seen some of the less experienced drivers come on as well – Scott Thomson has improved in pace over the last few meetings and will be hoping to continue that improvement as he and his team improve the handling of the car. \r\n\r\nThe CC Rods are with us and will be once more looking to showcase some great close racing. There has been little between many of the drivers over the course of the season, with Robert Conway, Ian Donaldson, Liam Conway and Kevin Donaldson always being up there battling it out – and in the most part, the drivers have provided brilliant on track entertainment with bumper to bumper and door to door racing. John Downs has been in good form too, and will be looking to get another round of good results under his belt this weekend.\r\n\r\nThe 2.0 Hot Rods are with us – Allan Gibson made a return last time out and was back on the pace with a rebuilt car. Gary Dean continues to understand the formula, and will be looking to make the most of starting in his grade this weekend. Olivia Kryzanowska has been improving throughout the year, making the most of some good track time, and gaining confidence in the process. Russell Clacher isn’t far away from a race win and will be one to keep an eye on this weekend.\r\n\r\nThe ProStock basic formula have accepted an invite to join us this weekend, as they make a guest appearance at Lochgelly Raceway. Saturday 12th September | HRP Lochgelly Raceway | 2.0 Banger Pete McVay Memorial\r\n\r\nThe 2.0 Bangers take to the track for their only meeting of the season at Lochgelly Raceway as they race in the 2.0 Banger Pete McVay Memorial event – Ryan Scott won the event last year and will be eager to retain it for a second year running – however, will his cards be marked as the opposition look to prevent him doing so, and get their hands on it themselves? We’ll be giving out an entertainers prize for the most entertaining driving during the meeting, as well as a good DD fund at the end of the night. Last years outing was arguably one of the best banger meetings for quite some time, with full on action in every race as the drivers, quite simply, got stuck in! We’re hopeful of a similar performance this time round as the 2.0s look to once more, put on a show!\r\n\r\nThe Junior Bangers join us as well, and we welcome a couple of visiting drivers, and a couple of first time drivers as well – a few of our Junior Production drivers are set to make an outing as they give it a try with contact permitted – they do need to remember though, that it isn’t full contact with follow ins not permitted! Tommy Melrose has been the top performing Scottish drivers throughout the year and commands a decent lead in the points chart, whilst Kenzie Kopacz, Steve Allan and Scott Ramsay Jnr have all been consistently in the mix.\r\n\r\nThe Ninja Karts race for their Fife Championship this weekend, with the youngsters set to entertain yet again. Last time out, it was their JusBounce Event, which went the way of Alfie MacLeod. Rory Wilson, Alfie Shevill and Alfie MacLeod all had some fantastic battles, with Jayden Jeffrey and Max Armit all also showcasing their talent throughout the night. It has been good to see some of our lesser experienced drivers make good progress of late – Harry Ford, Denni Farrell and Jacob Green all putting in some solid performances over the last few meetings.\r\n\r\nThe ORCi Ministox join us – the contact formula often provides great racing with very little between many of the drivers. It is always hard work for the star graded drivers to come through the pack as they navigate some very quick lower graded drivers. The bumpers are there to be used, and the youngsters never disappoint – entertaining racing is almost a sure thing from the Ministox, and we look forward to seeing them in action this Saturday night once more.\r\n\r\nThe ProStocks complete the line up this weekend. The formula has generally produced great racing here at Lochgelly over the course of the season. This weekend, numbers do seem to be down a little, but there is still time for others to book in and get involved. The nudge and spin class always brings the unexpected. \r\nOn Saturday, the drivers sign in office will open at 14:00 and close at 17:00. Thereafter, drivers must sign in from the main reception. Race teams are reminded to respect the pit area and keep the pits clean and tidy.\r\n\r\nScrutineering will be open from 14:00. Drivers must be signed in before being scrutineered. Drivers cannot practice until they have been signed in and scrutineered.\r\n\r\nAll drivers MUST attend the drivers briefing.\r\n\r\nDrivers are reminded that they are responsible for leaving a tidy pit area, utilizing the bins provided, or taking rubbish away with them. Any teams found to be leaving their pit area untidy, will be fined and possibly banned from attending race meetings.\r\n\r\nAll drivers must ensure that they have read the Drivers Briefing Notes. HRP will not be held accountable for a driver failing to read / understand these.
