Featuring 2024 U Pull It 1300 Stock Cars Championship of the World 1300 Stock Cars Internations Cup Qualifying Heats, Spedeworth TV Stock Rods European Championship, ProStocks & Junior Productions
It’s a TRIPLE Championship Weekend this coming Saturday and Sunday at Lochgelly Raceway. The 2024 U-Pull-It 1300 Stock Cars Championship of the World headlines the bill. The SpedeworthTV Stock Rods European Championship will also be contested, whilst the UPI 1300 Stock Cars will also battle it out as the drivers seek to become the first ever winner of the all new Inter-Nations Cup!
At the time of writing, there are 70+ 1300 Stock Cars booked to compete over the course of the weekend, with over 30 drivers set to participate in the last chance qualifier. The U-Pull-It World Championship race will be held on the Saturday night with 42 drivers taking to the track with the aim of becoming the 2024 World Champion. A parade lap will precede the World Championship race, with this being sponsored by Kingdom Kilts, with Junior Production driver, Lewis Duffy piping the drivers onto the track. Kingdom Kilts are putting up a tyre for the best dressed driver on the parade lap. These metal crunching hatchbacks will provide two days of spectacular action with the top drivers from throughout the UK and Ireland being with us. The Inter-Nations cup will see three qualifying heats take place to determine the grid for this race – 2 on the Saturday night and 1 on the Sunday, where each driver will participate in 2 of the 3 heats, with all drivers participating in the Inter-Nations Cup and Scottish Open Championship races. The Scottish Open championship race will be reverse grid of that of the Inter-Nations cup, with gaps filled accordingly for any drivers not on track.
The SpedeworthTV Stock Rods European Championship will take place on the Saturday night following a few qualifying heats. Each driver will draw a grid a number before the event which will determine their heats, and grid positions. Once the heats have been completed, the points will be tallied up using the Longhurst system, with the top point scorers starting at the front end of the European Championship race. With all UK and Ireland promotions represented, we are in for a fantastic battle as each of the drivers aim to become the 2024 Stock Rods European Champion.
On Saturday, the ProStocks and Junior Productions provide support, whilst on Sunday, they are replaced with the 2.0 Hot Rods and Ninja Karts.
