Stand closer to the action at Lochgelly Raceway – Forget standing miles away from the action – At Lochgelly, you can stand just metres from it, sending your senses into overdrive as you hear the engines race by, the vibrations as the cars clip the wall, and the wind as the cars race by. If you have never been before, you are certainly missing out on an witnessing exciting, grassroots motorsport.

Two action packed days of carnage are incoming – almost 60 micro bangers are booked to participate in what is one of the biggest events on the calendar for the formula. Despite them being micro in name, they are always BIG on action as witnessed in previous years.

Before the racing gets underway on Saturday, we will invite a number of nominees for the best presented micro banger to the track, where the winner will be chosen. Be sure to cheer on who you think should win!

The whole weekend promises to be up there with one of the best – action packed from start to finish. In addition to the Fife Medical Group Micro Banger World Cup, we also have the ProStock World Cup, Junior Bangers and Junior Productions featuring both days. The 1600 Bangers join us on Sunday afternoon as they complete their 2026 campaign at Lochgelly Raceway. The 1600s will see a demolition derby round off their season, with extra prize money and extra points available as an added incentive for drivers to participate!

The weekend will round off with the Micro Banger Demolition Derby as the drivers look to finish of their cars after entertaining throughout the weekend.

Two day advanced saver tickets available via our ticketing section on our website until 8th October. Thereafter, it will be on the day admissions only – Cash or card payment accepted.

𝐏𝐢𝐭 𝐀𝐫𝐞𝐚:

Race teams must park in the designated area within the pits, within the 𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐚𝐲𝐬. Parking outwith bays may result in you being asked to move. Anyone wishing to park together, must arrive together. There will be no holding of spaces permitted.

Only race transporter vehicles are permitted within the pit area. Any unauthorised vehicles in the pit area will be removed.

𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐆𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 / 𝐂𝐚𝐫 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠:

The spectator gates will open at 2.00pm on Saturday and 10.00am on Sunday.

Trackside parking will be available on a first come first served basis.

We have a large free on-site car park, with overflow car parking available on the drift track. Access routes must be kept clear.

A reminder, motorsport can be dangerous. Please stay clear of the catch fence during racing, be observant throughout the event and keep all children accompanied at all times. The promotors do our utmost to ensure a safe environment for all, however, given the nature of the sport, risks cannot be fully eradicated.

All attendee’s are requested to drive with care whilst arriving and leaving the venue. Pedestrians and horse riders are a regular feature on the access road. Please give them room and respect.

Further Race Team Information

The drivers sign in office will open at 13:00 and close at 16:15 on Saturday. On Sunday, it will open at 10:00 and close at 11:45. Drivers MUST SIGN in for both days racing. Thereafter, drivers must sign in from the main reception. Race teams are reminded to respect the pit area and keep the pits clean and tidy.

Scrutineering will be open from 13:00 on Saturday and 10:00 on Sunday. Drivers must be signed in before being scrutineered. Drivers cannot practice until they have been signed in and scrutineered.

All drivers MUST attend the drivers briefing.

Drivers are reminded that they are responsible for leaving a tidy pit area, utilizing the bins provided, or taking rubbish away with them. Any teams found to be leaving their pit area untidy, will be fined and possibly banned from attending race meetings.

All drivers must ensure that they have read the Drivers Briefing Notes. HRP will not be held accountable for a driver failing to read / understand these. Upon signing in, it will be presumed that you have read and understood these notes.
