Saturday 22nd August 2026 | HRP Lochgelly Raceway

After another action-packed meeting at Lochgelly on 15th August, attention now turns to Saturday 22nd August, with five formulas set to take to the track.

The programme features Junior Productions, 1600 Bangers, Superstox, Stock Rods and 2.0 Hot Rods, with several drivers currently in a rich vein of recent form.

Junior Productions – Scottish Championship

The Junior Productions provide the headline attraction, with a strong 20-car booking list for their Scottish Championship. The youngsters have been impressive throughout the season with great close competitive racing, with a number of newcomers entering the class as well.

Callum Ritchie and Leeland Dearn have both been in great form of late, picking up a few race wins between them, whilst the likes of Aiden Duffy and Kenzie Kopacz are never too far away. It’s been a difficult spell for Nicole Innes, however her resilience has to be admired as she keeps giving her all, and is due a turn in fortunes – what better time for that to happen than this weekend.

With 20+ drivers expected – you can expect the unexpected with the Juniors – they’re a must watch formula, and will provide superb entertaining racing.

The Superstox are in action for the final time ahead of their World Championship, and as such, we’ve a couple of visiting drivers joining us in the form of 252 Gary Chisolm and 154 Michael Green. Both drivers have shown good pace at Lochgelly Raceway and will be hoping to fine tune their race setups, whilst taking thing to our local drivers.

Bryan Forrest has been in the mix throughout the season and has been part of some incredible on track battles with the likes of Aaron Riddell, Adam Low and Kenny McKenzie.

We can expect more great racing from the open wheel formula this weekend.

The Stock Rod formula are with us for the second week in succession, and are guaranteed to provide close, fast and competitive racing.

The girl racers dominated victory lane last weekend, with 2 out 3 wins going to their way – Baillie Glencross and Teri Linden the successors - they’ll be looking for another night of racing where they have the boys chasing them to victory lane.

The Stock Rod formula always provides some of the best racing at Lochgelly Raceway with a highly competitive field of drivers. Overtaking can be difficult, but rewarding, and will always have the spectators on the edge of their seats!

The 1600 Bangers and 2.0 Hot Rods complete the line up.

# Five Formulas. One Action-Packed Saturday.

With a Junior Productions Scottish Championship, hard-fought Superstox and Stock Rod racing, unpredictable 1600 Bangers and high-speed 2.0 Hot Rods, there is plenty to look forward to.

Under 10s GO FREE – so bring the family and experience the action trackside!
