The spotlight falls firmly on the stars of the future this Saturday evening at HRP Lochgelly Raceway as the
Scrapco Metal Recycling Ninja Kart World Championship takes centre stage in what promises to be one of the most memorable nights of the season. Alongside the prestigious world championship event, race fans can look forward to action from the U-Pull-It 1400 Stock Cars, ProStocks, CC Rods, Junior Productions and, of course, the ever-popular Caravan Carnage grand prix. Support races get underway at 3.20pm, with the first of the main heats getting underway at 5.00pm
Ninja Kart racing has become one of the highlights of any meeting at Lochgelly, with youngsters aged ten and under regularly producing racing that belies their years. The World Championship brings together the best competitors from across the UK and Ireland, all chasing the biggest prize in the formula. With seeded qualifiers already confirmed and additional support races arranged for non-qualifiers, the stage is set for a packed field and a thrilling contest to determine who will leave Lochgelly Raceway carrying the coveted world championship!
The supporting programme is equally impressive. The U-Pull-It 1400 Stock Cars continue to provide metal crunching action and some of the closest and most competitive racing, while the ProStocks and CC Rods are both renowned for producing fast-paced wheel-to-wheel action. Junior Productions complete the racing schedule, showcasing another generation of young talent eager to make their mark at on the ovals.
As the evening draws to a close, attention will turn to the annual Caravan Carnage spectacular. Competitors will tow caravans behind banger-specification cars before attempting to survive the inevitable chaos that unfolds. Flying debris, twisted tow bars and plenty of destruction are guaranteed as drivers battle to keep their caravans attached for as long as possible in one of the most entertaining events of the year. The meeting will conclude with this crowd-pleasing finale, ensuring fans leave with memories of mayhem and motorsport at its finest.
With a World Championship on the line, a packed supporting card and the annual Caravan Carnage bringing the curtain down on proceedings, Saturday night promises to deliver excitement from the first green flag to the final crash. If you\\\\\\\'re looking for family entertainment, championship drama and spectacular full-contact action, there is only one place to be this weekend – HRP Lochgelly Raceway.
