Saturday 18th July 2026 – Lochgelly Raceway.

We are back in action at Lochgelly Raceway following on from our mid-season break. Be sure to join us for an action packed evening of racing, bringing you superb metal crunching action and wheel to wheel racing you won’t want to miss.

At Lochgelly Raceway, you can stand metres from the action and feel the wind as the cars race by, have excellent views of the full track from almost any vantage point around the raceway, and feel the atmosphere as spectators cheer on there favourite drivers. Before the event gets underway, you can visit the pit area and catch up with your favourite drivers, kids can get photos with them, or in some cases, even get to sit in the cars. It’s a brilliant family night out that will create memories and friendships that last a lifetime. Racing gets underway at 5.15pm this weekend, and you can simply pay on arrival – Cash or card payment accepted.

The ProStocks have delivered lots of fantastic racing here at Lochgelly Raceway over the course of the season so far, and we once more, expect that the formula will produce the on track action on Saturday, as they race in the Graeme Boyle Memorial with around £1500 in prize money up for grabs as well as a number of tyres courtesy of numerous sponsors. The Graeme Boyle Memorial race will have a parade lap beforehand, led out by the Graeme Boyle car, with the drivers then lining up in graded order for the race. Every driver will be keen to come away with a good performance, and the nudge and spin formula will almost certainly be one to watch on Saturday. Dougie Kidd was in fine form last time out in his new car, and will certainly be one to look out for on Saturday, whilst Kai McNulty continues to chase the points, he too will be one to watch out for. If the star graded drivers get into a battle, we have some very quick drivers in the lower grades that will be itching for success – Dylan Dickson took a win last time out, whilst Paul McNulty Jnr, Liam Georgeson and Marley Montgomery will all fancy there chances.

The U Pull It 1400 Stock Cars have proven to be very competitive this year, with no single driver standing out consistently above the rest – However, Joshua Machin has been the consistent driver over the season, and has claimed the 2025-26 National Points Championship ahead of the World Championship at Kings Lynn next month. Fraser Clark has seen an improvement in his form in 2026, and he’ll be looking to carry that on into this weekend. Charlie Henry has taken more race wins than any other driver this year, and will be one to watch should she get a break on track. Dale Sutherland and Jamie George have both been welcome additions to the formula, and both have shown they have the pace and confidence to compete with anyone else on track. The ironed up formula will be using the bumpers to maximum effect throughout the night, and we can expect to see some sparks at the lock horns and clatter with the steel perimeter fencing.

The National Hot Rods are in action in R1 of the new series – Gordon Alexander came out on top once more through 2025-26. Gordon has been a front running driver in the formula over the course of the last few years and is always doing his best to promote the formula and the sport. On track though, there are no friends, and he’ll give it is all once more as he looks to chase success for another year and put his name in the headlines once more. Barry Stephen has had arguably the worst possible luck in 2026, having seen multiple engine failures throughout the season – He’ll be hoping to get his 2026-27 campaign off to the best possible start and get some more good points on the board. Cameron Willacy looked to have found his feet in the formula the last time he was out, scoring well throughout the event, and he too will be looking to get his car dialled in as he chases World Final qualification in 2027. The National Hot Rods are the elite of non-contact racing, and there is a lot of finesse in these cars – and are always a joy to see scream around the oval raceways.

The CC Rods are in attendance in their final British Championship qualifying round. The budget non-contact class has produced its fair share of great racing over the years, and 2026 has seen some brilliant racing from the formula. There have been a number of drivers making the step up, pushing the more established drivers all the way and adding a further element of excitement to the racing. Liam Conway and Gavin Ritchie have both been great to watch this season, with both drivers impressing at every meeting,

The Superstox complete the line up this weekend, and they too have seen some great on track action this year, with excellent racing, and some hard fought battles. The open wheel formula have seen some great trophies up for grabs and once more, will have sponsored trophies courtesy of Annette Turner Book Keeping & Gary Chisholm. Gary Chisolm makes the trip north to be with us again, and is a welcome attendee here at Lochgelly Raceway. Chizzy though, will be looking to take away some silverware himself as he begins his preparations for the World Championship here in September. Aaron Riddell, Bryan Forrest, Adam Low, Kenny Mckenzie have all had some epic races this season, with last lap battles, end to end action and superb open wheel action. Mirran Adams has been on an upward trajectory and will find herself racing from yellow grade this weekend, whilst Josh Duff also continues to impress in his new home built car.

We hope that you enjoy your visit with us at HRP Lochgelly Raceway. Pick up a fixture list at the main reception to see what we have in store for the rest of the season.

A reminder, we have 50 50 TICKETS AVAILABLE FROM THE MAIN RECEPTION FOR JUST £1 PER STRIP, WITH HALF THE TAKINGS GOING TO THE WINNER.
