Why Stock Car Racing?
Grew up around the Cowdenbeath Racewall and went to spectate from a young age. My dad raced bangers and then stockrods in the 70s.

Why People Should Attend Stock Car Racing Events?
Probably shouldnt bother to watch me 🤣, but I try to race clean and fast.
Stock car racing in general is a great watch, the smells, the sounds, the contact, the variety of formuals and best of all is how close you get to the action, its unlike any other motorsport

What is involved in the run up to an event, and what emotions are involved
I dont work on the car nearly enough. I rely mainly on my dad who usually works on it a few hours daily. Has been keeping us going in 2 formulas the last couple of years.

Memories of first race
1300s at Cowdenbeath and it was snowing! Rear hub bearing collapsed a few laps in and locked up the back wheel, making an already very slippy track even more like an ice rink. Ruined a new tyre but kept it going till the finish. Some Buzz

Career highs and lows
Winning my first final in 1300s at Lochgelly.
Gaining and retaining red roof in 3 different formulas.

Low point, broken Coccyx in 2021

Just to compete and enjoy myself, anything else is a bonus.

The Most Memorable Race Remembered?
My first 1300 heat win at HRP and then Winning my first race in the prostocks at Cowdenbeath. I came through from Red in the pouring rain and pulled a big lead. A yellow flag with a couple laps to go added some drama and the nerves decended but I managed to get a good start and got the job done. As a kid watching at the Racewall I just wanted to get myself on that control car so it was a very memorable moment when it eventually happened around 30 years later
