1988 till 1992 I raced superstox at Armadale and 1 season of F2 at Cowdenbeath
2021 classic stox at swaffham
2022 till now superstox at Lochgelly

What is involved in the run up to an event, and what emotions are involved
Spend a couple of hours most nights prepping tyres, making adjustments and cleaning the car and tools ready for the meeting.
Nervous excitement on the day especially for championships

I like to visit other tracks as often as possible but the best thing about racing is the social side in the pits…I love to help where I can

I want to have fun and help my son get into the formula

Martin Brand 54. Top driver in my early days
Les Clark 39 and Jim Harris 281…..they were my inspiration when I started racing
Tommy Carruthers 56…..bought my first car from him
Gary Chisholm 252….for everything he does for siperstox

1988 World final….qualified mid pack after only been racing for 4 months
