The 2024 Season Highlights

Hardie Race Promotions have spent a lot of time planning the season, to ensure that we offer exciting events, with great racing on offer at each event, and we believe that we have put together one of the best fixture lists for quite some time, with lots of great events to look forward too.

The season kicks off with the Shaun Walsh Memorial event for the Van Bangers on the 24th February, which is always a busy, action packed event.

April will see the elite of non-contact oval racing, the National Hot Rods, head north to Lochgelly Raceway as they compete for their 2024 David Philp Commercials European Championship, alongside the Classic Hot Rods and Stock Rods - with both of these support formula also having a title on offer across the weekend.

The beginning of June will see a double British Championship event take place, with the Superstox racing for their A1 Containers R Us British Championship, with the 2.0 Hot Rods racing for their own British Championship title. The American Cup Car Racing teams make the trip north of the border once more as well, as they race for their annual Scottish Championship event.

Late June will see the ORCi Ministox race for their Apex Garden Rooms Scottish Championship, with the Ninja Karts racing for their British Championship at the same event! An excellent night where the up and coming talent will take centre stage.

August will see not 1, but 2 speed weekends take place - the first featuring both the Unlimited Bangers Scottish Championship and the 1600 Rookie Bangers Scottish Championship. The latter speed weekend will feature the U-Pull-It 1300 Stock Cars World Championship, and the Spedeworth TV Stock Rods European Championship. Both of these speed weekends promise to be spectucular, with lots of great racing and all round entertainment!

October will see the final speed weekend of the 2024 season take place, with the Micro Bangers racing for the Fife Medical Group World Cup - with in excess of 60 cars expected across the weekend. The ProStocks will race for their World Cup on the same weekend, whilst the Junior Productions race for their Scottish Open and the 1300 Stock Cars their Lochgelly Masters.

The season comes to a close in November, with our season finale having a superb line up of racing - the Superstox Lochgelly Masters, the 1300 Stock Cars Michelle Freck Memorial, the Ninja Karts Scottish Masters and the Ministox HRP Disco Trophy all up for grabs - alongside our annual charity offerings!

Our 2024 prensentation night will take place on Saturday 23rd November at Carnegie Conference Centre in Dunfermline.

2024 Season

Whos Doing What in 24

There have been a number of drivers chopping and changing formula over the winter months, with a good number of drivers coming into some as well!

The U-Pull-It sponsored 1300 Stock Cars look set to have an excellent season, with several new drivers coming into the class - Bryce Kempson, William Wallace, Jake Wilson and Shaz Law to name a few. Craig Warner is set to make a return to action having been on the sidelines for a couple of years. Add in the drivers that entered the class in 2023 such as Sam Cavanagh and Craig Royal, and 2024 is looking like it could be a mighty season for the UPI 1300 Stock Cars.

The Stock Rod formula looks set to welcome a number of new drivers into the class as well - bolstering the numbers somewhat, and ensuring the formula continues to provide close, exciting and adrenaline packed racing! Baillie Glencross is set to step into the formula from the Junior Productions, whilst Lennon Grant looks to be doing the same. Craig Tosh, James Halkett and Martin Joy are all set to join the HRP ranks, whilst Ross Graham looks to be making a return to Stock Rod action having been on out of the picture for a number of years.

In the 2.0 Hot Rod class, we're pleased to welcome Kieran Johnson and David Frame into the class - both will be welcome additions, and will no doubt be looking to get upto speed as quickly as possible. Charlie Hardie looks set to join the formula later in the season as well, once he retires from the Ministox class.

The National Hot Rod class has had a mixed time of it over the years, but it is good to see both Ethan Doull and James Robertson making the switch into the National class. Both drivers are welcome additions, and will no doubt look to get up to speed as quickly as possible to get points on the board.

There will no doubt be a number of new drivers hit the ground running across the formula, and this could make things challenging for the more experienced drivers trying to come through the pack - and that normally always leads to exciting racing that you won't want to take your eyes off!!

We hope to see as many of you as possible on Saturday 24th February as we kick off our 2024 season!!
