Junior Bangers

Following on from discussions with the JBA, Hardie Race Promotions, Crimond Raceway and Cowdenbeath Racewall are pleased to announce that an introduction of a Scottish series will be run for the Junior Banger formula.

We believe that the Junior Banger formula now play an essential part in nurturing potential future banger racing (Adult classes) talent, and we are pleased to have the opportunity to further build the formula here in Scotland with a Silver roof up for grabs at the end of the year. Furthermore, a points chart will enable us to determine grades for the Scottish based drivers that only regularly race in Scotland.

In order to be eligible for the Scottish series, drivers must hold a JBA ORCi license with either Spedeworth, Kings Lynn, Skegness or Yorstox, AND reside in Scotland. Drivers living outside of Scotland won’t be included in the Scottish Points Chart, but can participate in the Scottish meetings, with the approval of their licensing promotor. In all cases, all drivers must book in through their licensing promotor for all events in Scotland.

No day licenses are permitted for Junior Bangers, and any driver racing on a non ORCi JBA track will face a 12m ban.
