Superstox World Championship
Added by Kevin on Wednesday 7th October
On behalf of all the Superstox promoters Spedeworth Motorsports would like to make the following announcement.
The 2020 Superstox World Championship was scheduled to take place at Foxhall Heath Stadium, Ipswich on Saturday 17th October.
Due to the current COVID-19 situation within the UK and in agreement with the local authorities the decision was made to postpone the event.
Following discussions with all Superstox promoters the decision has been made to not run the Superstox World Championship for 2020.
The Superstox World Championship is a prestigious event and at present we feel the event could not be done the justice it deserves.
This decision now means that the 60th Anniversary of the World Championship will now take place in 2021 at a fixture to be confirmed in the future.
Whilst many drivers and race fans will understandably be disappointed by this decision, we hope you can appreciate and respect this outcome during the current circumstance we are all living with.
Thank you.
