We are back in action at HRP Lochgelly Raceway for a weekend of fantastic, adrenaline fuelled stock car and banger racing. With around 40 races scheduled over the two days, there will be plenty of on track action over the two days.
The ORCi Ministox race for their APEX Garden Buildings National Championship, with the qualifying races taking place on Saturday, and the main race on Sunday afternoon. With all corners of the UK and Ireland catered for, we are sure to see the youngsters at their best as they look to provide many great on track moments. Drivers will compete in EACH OF THE 3 heats on the Saturday, with the points tallied up to give the grid for the APEX Garden Buildings National Championship, and reversed, for the Fife Championship.
The Unlimited Bangers take to the track on the Saturday night as they race for their Scottish Championship. With drivers from throughout Scotland and England, we anticipate that the Unlimited’s will do their best to put on a show with £1500+ up for grabs across the day. Sean McConnachie is defending the Scottish Championship, there is £250 up for grabs for the meeting entertainer, and there will be upto £350 up for grabs at the end of meeting demolition derby, subject to enough drivers participating!
The Junior Productions race for their British Championship over the two days, and the youngsters have produced some brilliant racing this season. With a number of Northern Irish drivers added into the mix, we can expect plenty of close and exciting racing from the ‘non-contact’ formula. Can we see some Scottish success, or will the title return to Northern Ireland?
The Super 2s made an impressive debut in Scotland last year and are back with us for two days of action, alongside their junior counterparts. The formula certainly excited the crowd in 2024, and we can’t wait to see how the action unfolds this weekend from the Super 2s class.
The Rookie Bangers replace the Unlimited Bangers for the Sunday afternoon as they too race for their Scottish Championship. It is an event that has regularly attracted 30+ drivers and we expect to see a good field of cars come Sunday afternoon. The Rookies will also have a healthy prize fund up for grabs over the course of the afternoon – with an entertainers award and a strong incentive for the end of meeting DD.
The American Cup Cars and Junior American Cup Cars complete the line up of formula.
The on track action will get underway at 4.00pm on Saturday and 12pm on Sunday, with spectator gates opening at 1.30pm on Saturday and 10.00am on Sunday. Spectators can pay on arrival.
A reminder, we have
