We enter the final meeting of the first half of the season this Saturday 28th June at Lochgelly Raceway, and it promises to be an exciting evening of racing.

Stand just metres away from the action and feel the wind and vibrations as the cars race passed. Witness the action unfold firsthand and enjoy the spectacle of stock car racing and the excitement of the havoc on track!

The ProStock formula have been in excellent form in 2025 at HRP Lochgelly Raceway, and they battle it out for their 2025 Scottish Championship on Saturday 28th June. The National Micro Bangers compete in R3 of their World Cup Qualifying campaign, with a wildcard also up for grabs for the demolition derby winner too. The CC Rods feature in round 4 of the AC Roads and Driveways British Championship qualifying rounds, whilst the Scrapco Metal Recycling Ninja Karts also feature. Don’t forget, the event concludes with our annual caravan carnage grand prix!! All part of an exciting 18 race schedule.

The on track action will get underway at 5pm, with spectator gates opening at 2.45pm. Spectators can pay on arrival.

The ProStock formula has seen a great mix of winners this season, with a highly competitive field of drivers taking to the track. There have been 11 different race winners in the formula here at Lochgelly this year, with wins spread amongst the grades. Ryan Martin currently leads the track championship, though, has surprisingly not won a race yet. Can Ryan claim his first victory of the season in the Scottish Championship? Mark Boyle has found his pace and could be in with a shout for success – The McNulty duo – Kai and Paul – Kai has the pace to compete at the front end, whilst Paul is never far away from on track action! Reigning champion Paul Barron will have his work cut out as he aims to retain the title for another year. Dougie Kidd has been there or thereabouts, and is always one to watch come championship events – Dougie claimed the World Cup here at Lochgelly last year, and will fancy himself this weekend too!

The CC Rods race in R4 of the AC Roads & Driveways British Championship series as they aim to become the first CC Rod British Champion. The car numbers have consistently been good from the formula this year, and the campaign is currently led by Robert Conway with Baillie Glencross just a point adrift. Lee Scott, Alec Cunningham and Gregor Whyte are never really far away from success on track, and they’ll all be keen to push themselves to the top of the points chart to give themselves the best opportunity for success come the British Championship event. The non-contact formula often provides excellent racing, though, with a fair amount of inexperienced drivers on track, there could be a few hair-raising moments along the way! This weekend we are set to see two couples take to the track – Mr and Mrs Downs and Mr and Mrs Moyes.. What couple will fair best?

The Scrapco Metal Recycling Ninja Karts completed the 24/25 Points Campaign last time out with the World Final only a couple of weeks away now. Rory Wilson claimed the points championship once more, despite being pushed all the way by Jayden Jeffrey. With the points reset, everyone will be aiming to hit the ground running as they chase world qualification for 2026. Ryan Love has been one of the most consistent drivers of the 2025 so far, having claimed multiple race wins and many great results along the way. Sunny Hardie has steadily improved with each meeting that he has taken to the track, getting some finishes and showing growing confidence in the kart. We may see a couple of new drivers take to the track this weekend, whilst we also welcome Jaxon Stone and Riley Stagg as visiting drivers. The youngsters often provide close racing, with lots of edge of your seat moments as they whizz inside and outside around each other!

The National Micro Bangers are with us in R3 of their World Cup Qualifying campaign, and we are pleased to welcome Luke Thompson north of the border once more. Paul McNulty is set to take to the track for the first time this season at Lochgelly, and he has a reputation for never being far away from the action, and will no doubt be chasing the entertainer points and DD win! James Slater, Wully Youngson amongst others are set to take to the track.

The Superstox join us following on from the excellent British Championship weekend a couple of weeks ago. Aaron Riddell has shown great consistency this season and has opened up healthy leads in both the track and national points. Craig Stephen has been a breath of fresh air in the formula – the newcomer has certainly found his feet now as he moves up the grades, and on recent showings, isn’t afraid to get stuck in neither. Josh Duff, Paul Mackie, Dylan Anderson and Stewart Crookston are all set to join us, having missed out the British Championship weekend.

The event is completed by our annual caravan bangers grand prix – the drivers take to the track with their chariot on tow, and aim to become the last driver to have their caravan attached to claim the win, with a ‘DD’ following suit. It’s fun and chaos, and is guaranteed to leave the track a mess!

A reminder, we have 50 50 TICKETS AVAILABLE FROM THE MAIN RECEPTION FOR JUST £1 PER STRIP, WITH HALF THE TAKINGS GOING TO THE WINNER.
