The on track action continues at HRP Lochgelly Raceway on Saturday 28th March with fantastic value offered as we host 16 races offering approximately 4 hours of entertainment.
Pre meeting, take to the pit area and catch up with your favourite drivers, let the kids get photos with them and if they are lucky, they may even get to sit in some of the cars. Trackside, you will have uninterrupted views of the full track whatever your vantage point. Stand just metres from the track and your senses will be filled with adrenaline as the wind, smells and vibrations from the cars will be felt as the cars race passed just metres away.
The U-Pull-It 1400 Stock Cars join us once more as they look to provide exciting and entertaining racing – The armoured hatchbacks have started 2026 off with a bang with multiple flash points already involving a few drivers. Will they all be in attendance this weekend? Will the battles continue? Who’ll come out on top? There is only one way to find out, and that is to join us at Lochgelly Raceway and witness the action for yourself. This weekend there is added incentive as it is round 1 of the SP Utilities series. Fraser Clark has looked to have found form again and has come away with a few winners trophies already this year, and he’ll be looking to carry that form on into this weekend as he pushes himself up the points chart. Abe Adams took his first win in the formula last time out and he will be looking to build on that. Christopher Innes is hoping to make his debut in the class, whilst Joshua Machin looks to extend his lead at the top of the National Points. Connor Jones has started the 2026 season off in fine form, delivering consistent results at each of the two previous meetings, and has found himself in the running for race wins – Can he get that final push and claim a victory this weekend?
The National Hot Rods have delivered some very good racing this year, with improved car numbers a contributory factor in this. Cameron Willacy is set to make his debut in the formula this weekend, whilst Paul Cusack hopes to make his first outing of the season. Gordon Alexander, Ross McWilliam and Barry Stephen have all found themselves racing in close contention at much of the previous events this year. James Robertson and Robert McDonald are both set to join us, whilst John Sibbald will be looking to build on his impressive outing last time out. The National Hot Rods are the elite of non-contact oval racing, and race at speeds of upto 70mph around the short oval raceway. There is no room for error, and the drivers have to deliver skill, racecraft and bravery.
The Ninja Karts are with us and look set to continue in good numbers with just under 20 karts currently booked to participate. The youngsters as young as 6 always deliver heart in your mouth action and have absolutely ZERO fear. These kids reach speeds of almost 50mph around the Lochgelly Raceway and the more experienced drivers can race without lifting at all – It isn’t for the feint hearted as the youngsters weave in and out as they overtake inside, outside, inside again, whilst defending from those behind them without the aid of a mirror. There has been some fantastic racing so far this year, with Alfie McLeod starting his season off in the form of his life. Rory Wilson, Henry Hunn, Jayden Jeffrey et all have all had to work for their results, but all showed great pace last time out, and it will be interesting to see how this weekend fairs.
The CC Rods are the budget formula of HRP Lochgelly Raceway – the non-contact class often finds a lot of inexperienced drivers within the formula, which in itself can provide exciting racing – never knowing where to watch, or what to look out for. Some of the more established drivers have had a few heart in mouth moments as they look to navigate back markers, potentially losing out, or gaining at others’ expense. There are a few drivers new to the formula this year, and a few drivers that don’t have a huge amount of racing experience, and it is always good to see them grow in confidence as the season progresses. Hollie Ritchie looks to be settled into the formula now, and produced a great performance at the season opener, whilst Ian Donaldson, Kevin Donaldson, Lee Scott etc all had some great close battles.
The ProStocks complete the line up, and they are a formula that is often very unpredictable. When you expect a relatively straight forward meeting, something always pops up and keeps you alert. The nudge and spin class haven’t had the numbers of 2025 as yet, but it is good to see a few new drivers entering the formula this year, with Kaitlyn Marshal being one driver making her debut this weekend. Ryan Martin, Dougie Kidd and Paul Barron all looked quick last time out, whilst we seen some strong debut’s from the likes of Marley Montgomery and Dylan Dickson.
We hope that you enjoy your visit with us at HRP Lochgelly Raceway. Pick up a fixture list at the main reception to see what we have in store for the rest of the season.
