20th September Preview 20th September Preview
Saturday 20th September will see the U Pull It 1300 Stock Cars take to the track as they race for their Scottish Championship. The ironed up hatchback always provide brilliant on track entertainment with hard hitting, metal crunching action.

Jamie Stewart is defending his title as he looks to claim the Scottish Championship for the second time. Jamie has been one of the front running drivers in the formula over the last 12-18 months, securing multiple race victories and a few championships along the way. 668 Fraser Clark – Although not currently booked in – claimed the title in 2023 and 2020 and will be frantically rushing to try and get his car ready for this event with the hope of claiming the title for a third time. 835 Blair Robertson is also on the grid as a previous winner having won the Scottish Championship in 2022. Blair has seen his form return over the last few meetings and could well be one to watch out for on Saturday. Joshua Machin has been one of the quickest and most entertaining drivers this season – Machin has claimed several race wins and has performed well in many big races. He is one driver that will always do his utmost to put on a show and race a stock car how many believe a stock car should be raced. Craig Haxton doesn’t get to race as often as he likes these days due to work commitments, however, Hax is always one of the quickest drivers on track when he is in attendance. The Lochgelly based driver knows his way to victory lane and will be a deserving winner should he manage to achieve glory. Gary Nicholls claimed the British Championship earlier in the season and has put in some sterling performances around the country since then. Can the 176 pilot add the Scottish Championship to his attire, or will he be a marked man? There are many other drivers that could be in with a shout of glory – Kevin Graham, Charlie Henry and Dean Sievwright to name just a few. A lot could depend on the grid draw as to who has the best chance!

The Junior Productions are back for the second week in succession. The youngsters put in a fine display of racing last week in wet conditions with the lower graded drivers taking full advantage. This weekend once more will see 20 plus of these talented drivers take to the track as they once more look to steal the plaudits. Connie Anderson currently leads the way in the points championship, with the likes of Caden Wotherspoon, Lewis Duffy, Liam Conway, Callum Ritchie and Kenzie Kopacz all not too far away. It has been one of the most open seasons in the formula’s history and it has certainly seen many drivers build confidence and improve their all round race craft.

The Rookie Bangers join us for the final time in 2025 having had a mixed year with some very good racing, and some meetings that have been a little bit more disappointing. There is still lots to play for as the drivers chase World Championship qualification as well as the HRP points championship.

The ProStocks are with us having swapped weeks with the 2.0 Hot Rods. The ProStock formula has produced some excellent racing over the course of the 2025 season with many great battles, close and competitive racing. Dougie Kidd has entertained throughout the year with some hard hitting racing, combined with being quick when he wants to be. Paul Barron and Ina Christie have also put in a fair share of entertaining racing, with Ina, Paul and Dougie all at the sharp end of the points championship too.

The CC Rods complete the line up as they take to the track once more. Last weekend seen their Specialist Roofing event go the way of Lee Scott, and the CC Rod formula are another formula that has proven very competitive this year. Alec Cunningham, Robert Conway, Lee Scott and Ian Donaldson have all been arguably the quickest most consistent drivers – but there has been a lot of other drivers that have stood up and been a force this year – Gregor Whyte, Baillie Glencross and Kevin Donaldson have all always been there or thereabouts too!

A reminder, we have 50 50 TICKETS AVAILABLE FROM THE MAIN RECEPTION FOR JUST £1 PER STRIP, WITH HALF THE TAKINGS GOING TO THE WINNER.
