Junior Scottish On The Line Junior Scottish On The Line
We are back for an action packed night of stock car action at Lochgelly Raceway. Feel the wind as the cars race by just metres away, feel the earth vibrate beneath your feet as the engines roar passed. It’s a must see event for any motorsport fan!

Saturday 19th July will see the Junior Production formula take centre stage as they race for one of their biggest championships of the season – the Lothian Property Services Scottish Championship. The successful driver will have the opportunity to show off the Saltire at forthcoming events until the 2026 staging! The Juniors have seen come incredible racing over the course of the season, with great car numbers. There have been head in your hands moments in some races, but, across the course of the season, the youngsters have all raced excellently in what is a very mixed field of drivers. The more experienced drivers have found things difficult at times as they come across many up and coming drivers, whilst some of the lesser experienced drivers have found finding their feet difficult with such high car numbers and constant traffic to deal with. From a spectators points of view, the racing has been excellent – not knowing where to watch, and at times, who to watch. There have been umpteen different race winners across the course of the season so far, and almost any one of the current crop of drivers are in with a chance off success. Will we see the first female Junior Production Scottish Champion? Candice Smart, Connie Anderson and Nicole Innes have all been up there battling it out on a regular basis, whilst Maia Thompson and Mia Cross have also both shown they are more than capable of matching the boys on track. Kenzie Kopacz, Caden Wotherspoon, Lee Moore, Lewis Duffy, Aiden Duffy and Callum Ritchie are all up the top end of the points championship, and they will all fancy their chances of success too – If previous years are anything to go by, it will be quite some race with drivers all on their best behaviour!

The U-Pull-It 1300 Stock Cars race in the annual Craig McNicoll Memorial event – an event that many local drivers are keen to take part in. Newly confirmed National Points Champion Jamie Stewart has had an excellent season to date, scooping multiple race wins, plenty of quickest laps and a great haul of points – that though, has often made a target on his back though, as other drivers attempt to stop him racing clear, living up to the mantra that ‘the bumpers are there for a reason’. British Champion, Gary Nicholls has showcased his talent excellently too – racing superbly down at Ipswich a few weeks ago, whilst showing he isn’t afraid to get stuck in and use the bumper to dispose of those around him as quickly as possible. World Champion Darren Rae looked to have found form once more last time out as he picked up some good results. Darren has worn the gold roof with pride, and will be looking to show it off in good stead one more time ahead of the World Championship in just a couple of weeks time at Hednesford. A closed grid for the Craig McNicoll Memorial will see action from the outset, as the drivers set about things from the opening lap!

The National Hot Rods return to domestic action, and round 1 of the Scottish Qualifying Series. Paul Cusack is set to join us as he looks to complete a full campaign, whilst Keith Chesher, Ian Donaldson, James Robertson and Derek Connor are all currently booked in at the time of writing. It is anticipated that we may also see Marc Spence make a return, whilst Craig McLaren is expected to make his first outing in a couple of years. Barry Stephen and Gordon Alexander may also have cars ready to take to the track.

The Scrapco Metal Recycling Ninja Karts complete the line up, and are once more, expected to provide close, fast racing and hair-raising moments! Henry Hunn was in great form before the summer break, racing to excellent results in each of the races, whilst National Points Champion Rory Wilson and Jayden Jeffrey also put in a solid performance. Alfie Shevill, Ryan Love and Christopher Lattka continue to impress with strong performances on a regular basis, whilst it has been good to witness some of the lesser experienced drivers make progress over the last few meetings.

A reminder, we have 50 50 TICKETS AVAILABLE FROM THE MAIN RECEPTION FOR JUST £1 PER STRIP, WITH HALF THE TAKINGS GOING TO THE WINNER.

A reminder, motorsport can be dangerous. Please stay clear of the catch fence during racing, be observant throughout the event and keep all children accompanied at all times.
