We are back in action at HRP Lochgelly Raceway for a night of fantastic, adrenaline fuelled stock car, hot rod and banger racing.

The U-Pull-It 1300 Stock Cars are back in action for the first time in what feels like an eternity at Lochgelly Raceway, and it is the SP Utilities Series final round and there is plenty to race for. SP Utilities have kindly put up 8 tyres for the series and a healthy prize fund for the top three in the series, as well as the entertainer at this final round! Jamie Stewart currently leads the way in the series, and his cards will likely be marked by those chasing the prizes! Jamie Stewart will be racing with the silver roof for the first time at Lochgelly having won the points championship. Joshua Machin has been one of the most entertaining drivers of the season – never one to hang back and will give as good as he gets at any given moment, regardless of who else it involves. Machin will be looking to come away with a good haul of points, and will no doubt be chasing that entertainer prize! British Champion, Gary Nicholls will be hoping to find himself battling for the podium places once more, whilst the like of Charlie Henry, William Wallace and Connor Jones will be looking to get in amongst the action too!

The National Hot Rods are with us for the second week in succession, and we are hopeful to see Barry Stephen and Chevy Mills join in on the action having both missed out last weekend. Both will be welcome additions to the formula, whilst Ross McWilliam, Derek Connor and Ian Donaldson are all hoped to be with us once more. Paul Cusack is also set to join us as he looks to build on last weeks performance.

The 2.0 Hot Rods are in attendance for the first time this month. The 2.0s often provide close combative racing with little between many of the drivers. Charlie Hardie leads the way in way in the points championship at this early stage of the campaign, whilst Jack Macleod and Mark Dews both look to secure a healthy haul of points. William Hardie hopes to have his car ready as he makes a return to action.

The ProStock formula have served up some great on track action this season at Lochgelly, with plenty of close and action packed racing. The formula have had a busy schedule of late, with lots of racing. The numbers have stuck up reasonably well despite this, and we anticipate our pace car driver, James Simpson, making his debut in the formula this weekend. Lee Kopacz and Ryan Martin both put in strong performances last time out at Lochgelly, with Paul McNulty, Paul Barron and Kai McNulty all in amongst the action too – we can expect more action packed racing from the formula this weekend, as the formula looks to entertain this Saturday night.

The Stock Rods are with us for the second successive week – Robbie Armit claimed the Scottish Championship last weekend, and the National Points Championship in the process. The points will have been reset with the World Final less than one month away, with this weekend going towards the new points championship. Teri Linden has been one of the stars of the formula this year, as she has taken numerous race wins and brought herself into contention as one of the leading drivers in the formula. Lee McGill was back to his best last weekend, and he’ll be looking for another strong performance this weekend as he looks to get the new campaign off to the best possible start. Aiden McKinnon had arguably his best outing in the formula last weekend – he’ll be hoping to carry that form into this weekend as he looks to qualify for the majors in 2026. Kevin Stewart hopes to make his debut in the formula having missed out last weekend, and it’ll be interested to see how the former 2.0 Hot Rod driver takes to the front wheel drive class.

The on track action will get underway at 5.30pm, with spectator gates opening at 2.45pm. Spectators can pay on arrival.

A reminder, we have 50 50 TICKETS AVAILABLE FROM THE MAIN RECEPTION FOR JUST £1 PER STRIP, WITH HALF THE TAKINGS GOING TO THE WINNER.
