It is the final event of the 2024 season here at HRP Lochgelly Raceway, and it one not to be missed!
Four top formula take to the track as they look to entertain and showcase lots of excellent and action packed racing.
The U-Pull-It 1300 Stock Cars take to the track as they race for their annual Michelle Freck Memorial event - being defended by 411 Brant West. National Hot Rod World Champion, Robert McDonald is also set to make an appearance!
The Superstox race for their annual Mick Taylor backed Lochgelly Masters. Michael Green won the event in 2023, but due to holiday, will be unable to defend. Jake and Harry Sturt are welcome visitors in this event, whilst Danny Whyte also hopes to make an outing!
The ORCi Ministox race for their HRP Disco Trophy - first run here in 2023 and being won by Charlie Hardie. With Charlie having moved on from the formula, a new champion will be crowned. Jamie Balfour is hoping to make his debut in the formula having recently retired from the Ninja Kart class.
The Ninja Karts are the final formula in attendance - they are racing for their Scottish Masters, and with 30 + karts booked in from throughout England, Scotland and Northern Ireland, it promises to be a class night of racing for the youngsters.
In addition to the four formula racing, it is also our annual charity event where we will be raising as much funds as we possible can for great causes. Charities funds will be donated to are Forth1 Cash 4 Kids, Camerons Journey, Sands and SAMH. There will be 2 seater experiences taking place from 2pm - though, these are nearly fully booked with limited places available. Costs are £30 per run with all funds going to charity. The 1300 Stock Car drivers have kindly given up their cars for a ladies race, and a mechanics race with each competitor raising at least £100 to go towards our charities. The Ministox formula will also have an adults race - again, with each participant raising over £100 to be split amongst our charities. Talks are also taking place with the Superstox drivers, with the possibility of a Superstox mechanics race on the night too!
50 50 TICKETS ARE AVAILABLE FROM THE MAIN RECEPTION FOR JUST £1 PER STRIP, WITH HALF THE TAKINGS GOING TO THE WINNER.
