It looks set to be another excellent meeting at HRP Lochgelly Raceway on Saturday 11th April with five great formula taking to the track, serving up 15 adrenaline fuelled exciting races.
The U-Pull-It 1400 Stock Cars are in action and will deliver hard hitting, metal crunching action – The armoured up stock cars never fail to disappoint and with the numbers on the rise, the racing will only get even better. The early season has seen some great performances – Charlie Henry has taken a win at each of the three meetings this year. Callum Sturrock has shown good pace, whilst Fraser Clark looks to be back on form and he too has came away with some silverware already in 2026. Brant West has been developing his car between meetings and has improved at each of the three, and a win is just around the corner. Connor Jones has flown under the radar much of the year, but has consistently found himself in the mix for the podium places. There has been a few hard hitting moments with Joshua Machin, Dean McGill and Kai McNulty in the thick of the action – will that continue, or will the drivers get back to racing and getting some points on the board? There is only one way to find out – be sure to join us on Saturday 11th April.
The Junior Productions have served up some great racing – with a mix of experienced and non-experienced drivers serving up some dramatic moments as the drivers navigate each other whilst trying to keep things clean. Callum Ritchie was the quickest of the bunch last time out as he broke the lap record in his new car on the new tyres. Louie Hendry, Kenzie Kopacz and Bella Brown have all found good pace in the formula, and are all ones to watch out for – With the drivers being regraded recently, it will be interesting to see how things pan out this weekend as some of our newer drivers continue to find there feet.
The National Hot Rods are with us once more, and look set to provide further great racing – the formula are the pinnacle of the sport, and are always a formula to watch. With the European Championship taking place in around a months time, the drivers will be looking to optimise there setups to give them a good chance of success at that event, whilst also chasing World Final qualification. Gordon Alexander has had some issues with his car in the early part of the season which has dampened his progress, but he’ll be hoping to have resolved them as he looks to set about chasing victories once more. Ross McWilliam has been the dominant Scottish Series driver in the early part of 2026, though Barry Stephen has taken a few wins as well. John Sibbald looks to be putting himself into the mix with his new car too, whilst Cameron Willacy made his debut last time out. James Robertson hopes to be in attendance once more, whilst Chevy Mills is hopeful of being able to make his first outing of the season.
The Stock Rods are back with us, with a few drivers making the trip over to Northern Ireland at Easter Weekend. This Saturday we look set to see Ministox National Points Champion David Philp Jnr2 make his debut in the class, and we’ve no doubt he will soon be in the mix chasing success. The HRP field of Stock Rods are littered with talented drivers, and there has been an array of winners across the course of the season already, with drivers taking victories from across the grades. The formula has been touted as one of the most entertaining of the season with close, fast and extremely competitive racing, and we are sure they will once more entertain the masses this coming Saturday.
The CC Rods have seen good numbers in the early part of the season, and they take to the track this Saturday in R2 of their British Championship qualifying series. The Donaldson duo of Ian and Kevin have looked to be consistently quick, but Robert Conway and Lee Scott have both looked to be a match for the pair. John Gorman has found form too, whilst Gregor Whyte can never be discounted. Craig Denholm and John Downs are both hopeful of making their first outings of the 2026 season.
We hope that you enjoy your visit with us at HRP Lochgelly Raceway. Pick up a fixture list at the main reception to see what we have in store for the rest of the season.
