Saturday 27th May Saturday 27th May
Saturday 27th May will see us complete the month of May with another exciting four formula line up.

The ORCi Ministox will kick off their evening with the latest round in the JusBounce series, for the whites and yellow graded drivers, before the normal two heats and a final take place for the ever entertaining youngsters. It is the final meeting of the month, and for some, it will be the final meeting at their current grade before the changes take effect on the 1st June. Rian Mitchell debuted his new car last time out here at Lochgelly Raceway, and took away some good results with it. Demi Ritchie has started the 2023 season off in fine form, and led the National Points championship up until last weekend at Skegness. She’ll be looking for another good meetings on Saturday, as she looks to regain the advantage at the top of the charts. Charlie Hardie is the driver that has taken over at the top, having scored excellently at Skegness, where he also claimed the English Open Championship. Cole and Eevie Ford have both been making good progress of late, with both drivers having found themselves in the mix for race wins at recent events – it could be the night for both Ford drivers to claim victory!? Sam Cavanagh has been scoring consistently well, and also finds himself at the sharp end of the points championship. Sam was unfortunate not to take victory in the English Open last weekend, having gone for a last bender to take the lead, only for him to be caught up somewhat which allowed Hardie through as well! An excellent second place finish was much deserved, and Sam will be hoping for more great results on Saturday. Finlay and Ethan Gemmell both make the way south to be with us once more, as does Rhys Kelly, who took away a win at his last outing at Lochgelly Raceway. The youngsters always provide great racing, and we expect this Saturday to be much the same!!

The 1600 Rookie Bangers are in action for the final time ahead of their Scottish Championship in August, and with pole position on the line for the top point scorer on the night, it could be a calculated event for many of the attendees. Points will be scored across the three races to determine who will claim pole for the Scottish! Dylan Ward will be looking to take as much away as he can as he looks to top the points charts, as well as looking to give himself a shot at the Scottish in August. Dan Croskell is another that makes the trip north to be with us, with Ryan Martin, Grant Barker and Rocco Trench all representing Scotland in the quest for World Championship qualification amongst an English heavy grid of cars.

The Stock Rods are back with us for the first time in a few weeks, and it will be another close night of racing for the formula, as the stakes intensify as we head towards the qualification stage of the season. Gary Dean will miss out due to a family event, which will perhaps open the door for one or two others to put claim some much needed points. Brett Sneddon looked quick last time out, despite starting from the rear of the grid, and could be one to beat on Saturday. Raymond Brown looks to have overcame his early season issues, and has begun to score some good points of late as he moves up the charts. It is certain to be a night of close action for the Stock Rod formula, and one not to miss.

The National Hot Rods are with us once more, with World Champion Robert McDonald set to pay us a visit as he starts the first of three meetings this weekend. Gordon Alexander, William Hardie and Ross McWilliam have all been in good form this campaign, with James Mooney also scoring well consistently. Doug McLean and Marc Spence have both have steady campaigns, with each of them picking up some good results in the last few rounds. John Sibbald and Darren Scott have both also been showing good pace, with Sibbald seemingly preferring the damp conditions.

Spectator gates open at 3pm, with driver sign in opening at 2pm.

Practice gets underway at 3.30pm.
