Its a five formula line up at Lochgelly Raceway this coming Saturday evening.

The Superstox take to the track with a couple of welcome visitors in Dan and Chris Roots, with both drivers having had a fair amount of success at Lochgelly Raceway in previous visits. HRP regulars, Dean Johnston and Bryan Forrest will have there work cut out to battle there way through the field as Scottish Champion Barry Stephen continues to develop his new car. The open wheel formula generally always put on an excellent showing at Lochgelly Raceway, with plenty of paint traded throughout any given event - expect this Saturday to be no different!!

The National 2.0 Bangers are with us in the latest round of the Scrap A Car Scotland Series, and although numbers are less than we would have wanted, a few drivers are still trying to get a car ready for the event, so we expect the actual number of cars booked in to continue to grow as we go into Saturday. Regardless of numbers, the formula always seems to put on a show, with a few rivals battling it out on a regular basis!!

The CC Rods look to be a very competitive and open formula in 2020, with no single driver seemingly above any others. Last time out, Dylan Coutts took a race win, whilst Brandon Gourlay, Lee Scott and Ian Taylor all looked quick. David Glencross and Lee Wotherspoon will join the grid for this weekends event! The CC Rod formula are a consistently good formula, capable of providing some nailbiting action.

The Junior Productions are in action for the second week in succession. Kyle Rogerson joins in with a week off from Ministox duties, whilst Koddi Wright, Harvey Sneddon and Jensen Bell all look to lap up the glory. Jack MacLeod and Samantha Rogerson had arguably there best 2 meetings in the formula last weekend, and will be looking to build on that this Saturday. The youngsters in the non-contact class will be hoping to keep things clean having been warned of there contact last weekend!!

The National Hot Rods in Scotland look to have been hit quite hard with the COVID pandemic, together with Crimond closing its doors for the 2020 campaign. A number of northern based drivers have chosen not to participate in events at the moment given how things are in the North of the country, with there families health being a priority. However, with the likes of Robert McDonald, Gordon Alexander and Ian Donaldson on the grid, there could be some good racing amongst what is a rather depleted looking grid of cars.
