This Saturday promises to be one of the top domestic events of the 2023 season, with a lot of great racing anticipated.

The 1300 Stock Cars will contest their Craic McNicoll Memorial event, with a host of additional prizes on offer. Graham Campbell is set to make his debut in the formula having made the switch from CC Rods. Callum Farrance will make an appearance in the McNicoll car, and he’ll be hoping to perform well in the car. Craig Royal will be hoping to make an excellent start to his 1300 Stock Car career having previously succeeded in the banger formula over the last few years. Danny Whyte, Craig Haxton and the likes of Darren Rae will be looking to take the title from Kyle Hegg. However, Hegg will be keen to retain it, but, with 20 other drivers all out looking for glory, it promises to be an action packed night of racing! The meeting final will see the cars closed up, with a unique, graded order, 3-2-3 starting formation for the Craig McNicoll Memorial race.

The Ninja Karts will be racing for their JusBounce Shield – won in 2022 by Dougie Kidd. There will be a new name on the shield following this weekend of racing, with Kidd having since moved on from the formula. Rory Wilson has been in great form of late, as has Christopher Lattka, and those two will be looking to come out on top on Saturday. A number of visiting drivers are set to be with us too, with over 20 karts set to battle it out. Artur Ware, Cole and Jaxon York, Charlie and Finlay Weston all make the trip north to be with us, alongside regular travelling attendees, Jayden Roff, William Hunn and Henry Hunn. William Hunn is on a great run of form, having picked up some great points here last time out, before adding the English Championship last weekend. Blair Innes has shown he has the potential to race for victories, and will be looking to get a good run of luck this weekend. Jayden Jeffrey, Abigail Chalmers, Katie Lee Smart and Tommy Melrose will all be looking to make inroads in the points championship too, with a number of positions still to be finalized with only a few meetings remaining! The JusBounce winner will be the top point scorer on the night.

The ProStocks are with us once more, and once again, can expect to see over 20 cars take to the track. At the time of writing, there is 22 cars booked to race – a fantastic number of cars. Last time out, the formula produced great racing, with plenty of battles, drama and on track action. The formula has been wide open this year, with no particular driver running away with the points championships, and that remains the case. Three different race winners at our last meeting, and several drivers in contention to win the points championship – it promises to be an exciting end to the season for the ProStock formula.

The CC Rods are with us for the 2nd successive week, and will again provide close competitive racing. Ian Christie has been the most consistent driver throughout the season, and as such, currently heads the way at the top of the points chart – but with Lee Scott, Kevin Hutchison and Gregor Whyte not too far behind, there is still lots to race for. The rest of the field though, have proven to be competitive, and difficult to overcome, so the top drivers may have to settle for the lower podium positions to maximise their points tallies. Steven Adair has turned the corner in the formula, having found them difficult to adapt to early in the season. A number of wins, podium places, and good results in general over the last month or two, has seen him move swiftly up the points chart. Adair has shown great commitment to be with us most meetings, considering he resides in the north of England, and is the most travelled driver we have had in the CC Rod formula!

The Racing gets underway at 6pm, with spectator gates opening at 3pm. Driver sign in will open at 2pm.
