This Saturday, 29th July at Lochgelly Raceway, the action gets underway at 5.30pm, with another five formula line up of events.

The Service Central Ninja Karts have been in great form in 2023 so far, with good fields of karts, and good competitive racing. This weekend we will see a number of English based drivers make the trip north to be with us, including Kai Webber who has recently acquired one of the Hunn Hardie Motorsport karts. Ralphie Hendy, Riley Close, Jayden Roff and both William and Henry Hunn are all also expected to be with us. Christopher Lattka and Rory Wilson have both came on leaps and bounds in the few meetings that they have competed in, and will be looking for their maiden wins. Billy Hardie is set to make his debut in the formula in the ex Kenzie Bell kart. Stuart Shevill Jnr will be showing off the European Championship roof at home for the first time, having won the title at Ipswich at the beginning of the month. Sophia Allan, Blair Innes and Jayden Lee Jeffrey have all been in good form of late, with each of the trio picking up some good results at recent outings.

The 2.0 Hot Rods join us for the first time in July, and Colin Wotherspoon is set to make his first appearance of the season, having recently completed the work on his car. Frankie Cunningham and Kerr Paterson both hope to be with us in what looks to be a competitive field of cars. Scottish Champion Keith Brown and Ethan Doull were both over in Northern Ireland recently, where the pair represented Scotland well, and both are set to be with us on Saturday night. Mark Dews, Gerry Hendry and Cameron Willacy are all consistent front runners in the 2.0 Hot Rod class, and the formula is currently oozing talent, which always provides some first class, close and exciting racing.

The CC Rods are back with us following on from a dramatic affair last time out, where we seen a number of accidental issues on track that seen a few cars leave worse for wear! That being said, it is another decent turnout for the formula, with a host of competitive drivers taking to the track. The formula points championship is wide open, with Lee Scott, Gary Nicholls, Kevin Hutchison and a few others, all in with a chance of success! Graham Campbell has proven to be a stern challenger, and one that will make his car as wide as legally possible when it comes to having to defend, but the driver would much rather look forward, and challenge for the podium places as he often does. An exciting driver to watch! Brandon Gourlay will be hoping for better luck this time, having had a nightmare return to the formula last time out. Rhys Easton is set to make an appearance in the class as well.

The ORCi Ministox are with us for the second week in succession, having been added onto the fixture last weekend as well. Around 20 cars are expected to be in attendance, as the youngster again look to steal the plaudits. The Ministox consistently provide good fast and exciting racing, and we expect this Saturday to be no different. Rian Mitchell won the final last weekend, and will be looking to repeat the feat on Saturday. Kerr Paterson, Rab Scott, David Philp and the likes will all also be chasing glory.

The Back 2 Basic Bangers were added to this event a couple of months ago, at driver request, and we expect to see around 20 cars take to the track as they contest their Scottish Championship. Team Joker will be out in force, having assisted in organizing the event, whilst we should also see the likes of Gary Doyle, Sean McConnachie on track, amongst a number of English based drivers. Unlike National Bangers, Back 2 Basics are a quick and easy build for most, with seatbelt straps being used for keeping doors closed etc, and as such, are not a formula that should see turning around or head ons, although, there is a plan to run a DD at the end of the night, with a good cash incentive for the drivers on that as well!!

Driver sign in will open at 2pm, with spectator gates opening at 2.45pm.
