Nationals Rock Into Action

Join Our Facebook Event | Purchase Advance Tickets For This Event. THIS weekend, the Pinnacle of Non Contact Short Oval Racing Motorsport, rocks into Lochgelly Raceway as the National Hot Rods contest the 2022 DPC European Championship!!!

Over 30 National Hot Rods are expected to be with us across the weekend, providing some mouthwatering racing as they battle it out be top dog this weekend! World Champion Robert McDonald will be with us, as will the current European Champion Shane Murray, and a wealth of former title holders in what really is a star studded line up! Jason Kew will be looking to get his hands on the European Championship, as will Chris Haird, Billy Wood, Carl Waller-Barret, Derek Martin and Glenn Bell. Those drivers will likely start as pre-race favourites, however, there could quite easily be a win for any driver on the grid - Gordon Alexander and John Sibbald have shown they can battle it out amongst the top English drivers on a regular basis, whilst Ross McWilliam has matured into a crafty driver in Scotland, and will be hoping to make home advantage count this weekend.

The racing will be fast, the racing will be close, and it will be exciting - may the best driver win, and be sure not to miss it!!

The Classic Hot Rods are with us as they contest their Scottish Championship, and Malcolm Chesher Memorial events over the weekend, and with a few first timers on the grid, it could be an exciting affair of racing. The Classics are a joy to watch, as the retro style cars glide around the raceway. Hughie Weaver, Gary Goodswen and Daniel Buckley will likely lead the English charge, though Scotlands Graeme Callendar will hope to take the glory in front of a home crowd. A debut will be had for Davie Low in the 631 machine, whilst Lester McCloy, Anthony Morgan and Mark Monaghan lead the charge from across the water.

The 1300 Stock Cars, Ministox and Stock Rods all provide an excellent support, with all three formula likely to see 20+ cars take to the track.

Two days of non-stop action gets under way at 5pm on Saturday; Be sure not to miss it!! It promises to be an epic weekend of racing!

Weekend Stay
There is no charge for weekend camping. Any spectators staying overnight however, must only do so in the main car park. There is no spectators permitted to stay within the stadium confines overnight.
