Sat 7th August Sat 7th August
We are back for another exciting night of stock car racing at Lochgelly Raceway!

The John Gibson Memorial meeting will be contested for in the Superstox class for the first time, with the trophy being presented by a couple of people that were close to John. Bryan Forrest will start as the favourite for this event, though Dean Johnston has been in great form of late as well and will be looking to take his chances should opportunities arise on the night. Lee Livingston and Jack Turbitt have both been in great form over the last couple of months as well – with both drivers picking up numerous strong finishes – With some good fortune – either of these two have the ability to take the honours as well. What about Reece Din – A new driver at the start of the season has really came on leaps and bounds over the last few events – taking away a few good results, having led the majority of races over the last month or so! Can he take his maiden win this weekend – it will certainly be well deserved if he can get it over the line.

The Stock Rods are with us again following on from their National Championship last weekend at Hednesford where Gary Dean brought his car home in third place. Siobhan Martin crossed the line first, but was unfortunately disqualified from the result after an on track incident. Siobhan will be looking to push on from that set back this weekend as she hopes to get back to winning ways. Robbie Hamilton has had a few impressive results since coming into the formula and improves meeting on meeting, and will be looking for his first home win this weekend. Ian Donaldson makes the switch from Superstox, and will be looking to hit the ground running this weekend in the Stock Rod formula. The new grades will come into effect this weekend which will see a few drivers move around and find themselves starting a little further back, or forward, which could spur on some interesting results.

The Junior Productions have another healthy field of cars, with William Plenderleith set to make his debut in the class having graduated from Ninja Karts at the end of 2020. Sam Percy joins us from Northern Ireland as well and he will be looking to pick up a few good results from his blue grade starting berth. Chloe and Jack Baird both picked up some good results last time out, and will both be looking to continue that this weekend, whilst further back the field, Dylan Smart, Jensen Bell, Jack MacLeod and Koddi Wright will all be looking to overcome Jase Walle as they look to close the gap at the top of the points charts!

The UKMC Sponsored Ninja Kart are in action at Lochgelly Raceway, with possibly the largest domestic turnout of the season for the youngsters. Noah Teggart and Ryan Abernethy join us from Northern Ireland, as well as Clark Ferris from England, whilst Jaxon Joyce and Tommy Melrose are set to make their debuts in the class. Katie Lee Smart will make her first appearance of 2021, whilst a whole host of drivers battle it out at the top end of the points charts in the quest for 2021 glory. Dougie Kidd, Hamish Plenderleith and Kenzie Bell are the top 3 at the moment, but things can change ever so quickly in the Ninja Karts, particularly with lots of drivers capable of putting in a performance on their day.

The Classic Hot Rods are the final formula in action this weekend, and will be looking to make up for the lost meeting a few weeks back. Just shy of 10 cars are booked into race – with 2 English based drivers joining us on the grid – Richard Beere and Gary Goodswen. The Scottish contingent will be led by Kenny Purdie and Graeme Callendar – 2 of the most experienced and capable drivers in the class, whilst Jock Campbell, Keith Chesher, Trevor Harris, Alex Wilson and John Watkins are all set to be out on track as well as the Classics look to put on a show.

First race, 5pm! Join us then!!
